Self clipping is better than not clipping, but usually uploading those clips to youtube is just another video broadcasted into the void. One thing you could do is post the clips to twitter, where they arguably have a better reach than on YT if you've been networking right. Otherwise just using the clip feature and hoping stray clippers pick them up is the next best thing you can do I suppose. Or just post them wherever you can, including reddit and tiktok. I mean this completely unironically.

We've had this discussion a few times - it depends on what you offer. For your first generation, you're gonna need to either offer a really good contract (because you're unknown, why would they sign with you); or do an 'affiliate' generation, where you do management reps and stuff effectively for free, except they promote you as a company (so you don't offer much, but don't cost them anything either).

Alternatively, go dumpster diving amongst the two-views, and find some pngtubers with talent, toss them a vroid, and snare them in a heavy contract

I should've gone to bed hours ago, but I wanted to share a little update on the chuuba choir project, because I'm very excited right now. I've been getting finished tracks back from the members and putting them together. I'm learning new software, Reaper, to put it all together, since it's a lot more powerful than Audacity. This means the editing is slow going on my part as I learn, but the end product should end up sounding very professional. Consider this a rough preview! I'm really impressed with the tracks everyone is sending in; they're really sounding great. Look forward to the finished product probably within two weeks or so!

I'm actually really surprised at how much interest there's been in the project, and I'm hoping that interest will only grow after this first project is completed.
