I can't speak for anyone else, but for me it's because omega comes across as a DM with a shitty DMPC from a tabletop game. It always wants to shove pointless lore down our throats and wants the gen2 to focus on the lore. It self-inserted itself as a character with god powers above every other holo. And whether intentional or not it tries to take attention away from the girls and make it seem like it is as important to the fans as the girls are, always saying "we" this and "we" that. Omegay may or may not be a good producer/manager behind the scenes, but what it puts on display to the public is obnoxious. Like shut up fucker, no one cares about you this is the first gens anniversary fuck off. Also my oshi has never said anything positive about omega so by default I also don't like omega.
