Leaving that aside, Iku was the most successful of the gen1 and even gen2, until Luto surpassed after 2 months or so, because she got some track when making one of those vtuber learns X language with duolingo. In her case, bahasa indonesian. I didn't follow iku too much during those days but I think she also got some extras subs/views thanks to an indonesian vtuber or something.
