Hey, you fixed the formatting. Nice touch right away. An initial criticism I have is that the single line break for dialogue is a little jarring at first, but otherwise it's a marked improvement. This line: "The small blonde abruptly cuts you off and swerves to the left and you follow her dutifully, stepping on a wet newspaper and almost skidding," feels odd to me. Might be too many "ands". It's a recurring issue later on, like when Anon blinks after Amelia nearly gets pasted. Turning it into another small sentence or using some other form of punctuation could do a lot to help with the flow of the story, cut down on repetition, even if "and" is one of the most used words. Also going to echo the sentiment of "don't burn yourself out". It's a noble goal, but don't try to timegate yourself. You aren't being paid for this. Just work at a pace that makes you comfortable, and ensures you aren't being rushed. A rushed story will always be of lesser quality due to the circumstances of its creation. Looking forward to more!

Liked this a lot. Starting action and back-and-forth between Amelia and anon was very engaging. Descriptions convey good sense of movement without getting too long.

"but you can tell that you expect some sort of answer." seems a bit odd. I read it as being taken aback by Ame's glare, before realising you still want an answer, but it feels awkward whatever your intention. There's a place from "The floor's a lovely... your feet somewhat shakily," that piles up a lot of adverbs. The first few are fine as common expressions, but just because you bunch them up, the later ones may be improved with something more figurative.

As others have said, the line break is odd, though it at doesn't ruin the story. Also echoing what others say, this writing thing is ultimately a hobby, so don't feel like you have any obligation to supply this thread with life if it seems no one else is. If you're that invested in your own writing to keep it up weekly, great. Even then, taking a few days extra if you're not feeling it can be useful to write something you'll really enjoy.

It's a nice fight overall. Flows well and sentences don't go on for too long. There was a good back and forth, although giving more time to how Ayame is feeling at the last part where anon is on top might make it more satisfying.

With this sentence " narrowly crashing against the metal.", if the idea is anon's sword barely touches Ayame's, crash seems a bit much, maybe scrape. The bit where anon recalls Fubuki for a moment before beating down Ayame feels a tad too quick, could use few more sentences. Also, if you feel the fight descriptions ever get too repetitive, maybe combine them with the emotional moments, as they feel mostly separate. For example, emphasising how each impact makes you feel like you're draining out the pain losing Fubuki or something.

Last few points were mainly nitpicking, but it was a pretty good read! Keep up the reps.

Yeah I did feel like it lacked some emotional weight in some critical moments. I'll look into how to better implement them into my works. Is pretty weird. Also you should never put two character's dialogue in the same paragraph. if a new character speaks, it should be written in a new paragraph to keep it clean. Overall, pretty good so far. Too early to give a proper verdict but keep up the writing my man.

As far as fight scenes go, this is pretty good. Short, concise sentences in an active voice with multiple pauses are perfect for giving the fight that "oomph". Not much in terms of beatdowns as the final part felt a little short to really drive the sheer brutality of beating someone on the ground. If you want some references for a good beatdown then I suggest reading "Lies come to light" in the archive but that might be a bit too much for what you're going for. The dialogue could use some work from Anon's part as I didn't really feel the anger from him from the dialogue itself. Ayame was fine since she was more taunting him and she didn't really need to have the same emotional drive to fight Anon.
