I find her entertaining, just not in a 'I identify as a brat and am willing to put my hand in my pocket' way. The kind of stream you'll put on and watch when there's no one else streaming, then turn off and not really think about afterwards.

And it hurts to say that. With all the colors on her set, her boundless energy, enthusiasm and tendency to get wound up easily she's like one those late 90s/early 2000 saturday morning kids show characters. She's likeable with her own unique charm but with the possible exception of the Mad Max watchalong I can't really say there's anything in the future I'd be looking forward to seeing her do. This is actually the biggest issue, yes. On her own, without structure, she is inert. I suspect she has the misfortune of being a legitimate extrovert in an industry of introverts, and as soon as she's in any form of collab, her strengths kick into gear. The impromptu minecraft collab was all thanks to her energy and desire to bring everyone together for fun. I really do worry about her as an individual vtuber, but I'd never want to lose her in the council.

As for time zone, I guess that might be part of it because indogs/flips aren't known as big spenders and I don't think anyone expects them to easily do so to our standards for what constitutes 'a lot'. Aussies/kiwis, I dunno, I guess they're dropping the ball there but clearly Sana is doing just fine in SC and often is at a similar time. Also the Japanese SC more than anyone besides Americans/Canadians and she is both in their time zone and has carefully courted a segment of them as her audience. Still nothing from them too. It's crazy.

As for other things, we did have some hopium that she'd be an EN Pekora and a crazy (but not Pippa or Beatani level) /here/tuber able to talk fucking mad banter with the others, and being literally modeled after an ogey rrat you WOULD THINK she would be saucy, spicy and zany but isn't really, like she has not even the fucking slightest clue how to act in a way that'd take us all for a spin. From what we've heard about model design it seems plausible she was mostly molded out to support such a person behind it but they did not hire someone able to actually hit that expectation for real and just give us the tame PG version. That continual disappointment lingers here but I guess it is possible basically everyone finds her underwhelming because most people have heard of us and know shit can get nuts here and might have low-key thought she would be a lot more wild than she is too.

I'd disagree on the talentless part. It CAN be talentless and if you're going deep into the parasocial aspect then there are people who will lap up someone doing the same thing over and over again solely because of the person doing it.

However I'd argue there's a skill to constantly doing new things with it, to play around with new ideas and concepts to avoid things getting stale and it's a difficult balance. You're effectively trusting someone wholeheartedly by placing yourself in a vulnerable position for them to do something you're unfamiliar with.

I think with just 2 ASMR streams so far it's a bit early to say with Fauna. I don't think we'll get Haachama levels of creativity but I think she's concious enough to switch things up so that they never get boring.
