Reminder that first NijiJP males are Hajiki and Aki-kun, both literalwhos until this day and the former is notable only for being infamous and generally disliked. First gen isn't really a big deal.

I blame it on Hololive fan mentality, because most western vtuber fans were mostly Holofags during NijiEn1 auditions.
An you know how holofags are trained - "main branch for females, separate branch for males". As a result, only a few males applied, and Niji weren't able to find good candidates among them.

The lack of segregation makes their brand weak.
