This is a low-key 4chan vs reddit thread but I'll take the bait. Most communities on reddit have community guidelines that are enforced with banhammers. On 4chan every aspie is allowed to spew their venomous sexist, racist, and toxic hatred without consequences. 4chan is far closer to the concept of freedom of speech because posts take priority on 4chan. There aren't enough mods to force boards to have specific opinions and reports don't automatically hide those opinions if enough of them are made.

Many 4chan memes/jokes don't translate well into the reddit format. A lot is image editing (like the Pekora faces) or text posts that are extremely referential to the point it's incomprehensible to outsiders.
