Violet wasn't as great or fantastic as other EN singles but it has Ina so it's a 10/10 for me

The NijiEN approach (not mocking them for it, the songs are fine) makes sense for promotion of a group that is not actively idolshitting/planning to make their own music. But you can't do that with Mori and Kiara who both want to do their own thing, and Ame who doesn't want to bother with making music at all.

There is no way you will get 5 people with varying levels of singing and production talent to equilaterally contribute. It would end up as a project of 1 and 2 people who assign singing parts and lyrics for everyone. There is an example for that which turned out extremely well and is obscenely pro-Unity Kisekei Knot, pretty much written and produced by Kanata alone because Cover wouldn't do it in such a short timeframe , and it is safe to say that no one wants a chuuba to make a song for similar reasons ever again.

Reflect is one of those songs which is mostly good but then the 'gura personal touch' where she's just talking takes me out of the music. It's like when a song has a great melody and then randomly inserts rap or spoken word parts.

It's comically bad with these 5 of all people, but the odds that you cast 5 people as "multitalents, JP not required, does not have to produce their own music or any experience with doing so and then expecting them to match as singers or musicians is neglible.

I like SPARKS most, and Live Again second most. SPARKS lights me up, and Live Again hits my melancholy in just the right spot.
IRyS's music has failed to hook me but to be fair I feel like I haven't given it a fair shot. I never feel like branching into it. Maybe I should give them all a serious listen one of these days.
