It was fairly enjoyable, but I wouldn't recommend going in only with the last movie if that was your plan. Seeing her speaking more openly and honestly with us is always a plus, regardless the topic, though her voice at the beginning really showed she had a lot on her plate, and it wasn't just speedwatching the prior movies to catch up. Later on she read the donations, showed us her custom, Evangelion-themed keycaps, and IIRC said she can't wait to reveal her birthday merch. Pretty comfy overall.

Maybe it's to do with I expected, I thought it'd be Reine just talking into the mic (either normal voice, whisper or witness Reine, didn't really matter to me) and maybe doing some VA stuff, but instead I got the Indonesian torture basement experience. You can get a great sounding setup for ~$500 or upgrade as you go, so it's not all that unobtainable. At the low end you'll see huge performance jumps for not all that much money.

It’s hard to really say until you start getting into the midrange. A lot of people end up happy forever with a little over 1K in everything. It doesn’t make it any easier that sound is subjective and what is great for me but be too grating for you. It’s a deep hole. I’d say headphones should usually be the first thing you upgrade provided you have a sound card (or preferably DAC/amp) that can drive them. But we are starting to get into the weeds and another board is probably the place to go rather than off topic in /mep/.

Considering she was aware enough to warn people ahead of time about the music coming on to give them time to prepare, she seems to have already grasped that sudden loud noises = unpleasant experience.

Pretty much everyone came away from the experience with a positive impression and while she mentioned wanting to do more 'serious' ASMR, part of what was fun about this one was that she was willing to play around with the concept and not take it too seriously. I'd hate to think she'd be less inclined to try more creative ideas with it just because one didn't work out. It's part of what made her stream different from a lot of ASMRs out there and makes me interested to hear more.

It's possible to do both, in fact the stream had a good mix of asmr segments that were pleasurable to listen to and ones that were 'I have no idea what the fuck is going on anymore'. I feel like if I only wanted the former I'd just listen to Fauna and if I only wanted the latter I'd just listen to Mori. It's one of Reine's strengths that she's able to cross that serious/silly line multiple times and never have it feel awkward or out of character.

It might have been moved just because it was a testing stream. Seems like future ASMR might be members only. Her just chatting members streams that she does while working are well suited to soft-talking asmr. My favorite part of the asmr stream was hearing her walk around at a little bit of a distance, so if she's just talking normally not directly into the ears that's enjoyable for me.

Membership stream, I think the one when she drew MC as an RGB catgirl maid. I don't remember what exactly happened, but something/someone made her really gloomy and the entire mood turned sour, so she considered deleting/privating the stream right after finishing it, but eventually left it for about 2 weeks so those who weren't there could catch up with the VOD.

The exact issue was just getting mad at her chat in regards to some minecraft shit where her chat was having a whole talk about ollie on Reine's chat, as well as chat warning her about pranks other girls were trying to do to her.
The thing about Reine is that she has a pride about not wanting to outright berate her chat directly. She'll dodge around it as much as she can and attempt to address it, but she never wants to make a direct enemy out of chat. If you watch her enough you'd know how parasocial she is about her relationship with chat. I don't think she ever wants to get to a point where say Ame is where her chat is just impossible to reason with to the point of ignoring it. The fact she had to drop the mask a bit to acknowledge it probably hurt her a ton personally, and she even mentions that she doesn't like showing that kind of weakness because she just wants everyone to have fun, even if she has to put on a bit of a happy mask to do so.
She definitely dropped the archive since she didn't want those words to come back and cause some sort of policing movement or be used against her by antis or something. She definitely doesn't want to start any drama over just wanting people to have a good time.

I'm still a deadbeat and 4 memberships per month with only one tier was very refreshing for me. Not all of them are mega-events but it doesn't have to be, I just enjoy the smaller chat and her loosening up a little. Reine by default is very guarded and reserved.

I think at some point in their career, all streamers will eventually have to deal with chat being less tolerable at times, though I never quite understood the "don't talk about other vtubers" part, there is no equivalent for that for regular streamers, so a lot of people naturally assume it's fine for vtubers as well, especially if vtubers in question are somehow related.
