Content wise Council has a couple bright lights but they overall feel like more of the same (kronii vs mori) or just "meh" in every single way (rrat). Sana is IMO hands down the best/most entertaining personality in an infectious enjoyable, authentic feeling way, probably more instantly charming than most EN1s actually. Yet of course she is trailing far, on account of Susan, the model and the accent. I think people will slowly discover her over time but until then she'll unfairly contribute to the image of council being ridiculously inferior to myth.

Mumei is doing something truly different from EN1 but basically, what you are seeing is like "what if the unmentionably bad debut Ame, trying to be a moeblob and kyaa'ing every sentence, was actually well-received and she kept doing it nonstop." Thus she just feels fake in every single appreciable way to me. People say EN Aqua but to me that is a fuck no, it's EN Luna. Aqua did not set out to be beyond-belief dumb from the get-go, and is mostly a chatty and actually witty girl, just has occasional moments of baqua-ness mixed in. Mumei is 100% airhead 100% of the time and it feels like we are just watching a cartoon character. To have such a separation between the character and the real self is some people would say good but personally I don't like it, like it's condescending - we are not good enough to know the real her. The feeling of a fake facade is part of the source of all the nonstop rrating/suspicions about her true intent and feelings. It's easy to be suspicious of someone clearly wearing a mask. Seems a lot of people like her act but I suspect it will get old fast, or you just have to be brain damaged to enjoy it indefinitely (so, redditors will continue to like her cheesy act). I mean Luna is pretty similar in practice and trails the rest of her gen hard, it's just a niche so I am not certain how mumei will turn out in the long run.

Lastly on roommate drama front, council is a fucking shitpile and has let me be frank, ruined my trust in Cover and I will never fucking superchat any of their talents. It is clear they just see the audience as dumb marks and have no intent to build serious trust between the company and the fans. It's free entertainment and nothing more.

If anything it's gotten worse the longer most of them go on. Ina is chill (aka boring) and the GFE has been, is, and will forever be fucking pathetic for those that seek that content out. Calli tries way too hard to fit the character that she sees her chat sees her as but unlike Gura it isn't sometimes funny and cringe its just pure cringe, and seems to have to force an interested tone to her voice though its obviously forced . Gura is just Hololive Nyanners: Reddit edition but can at least take jabs and banters with chat without going full internet toughgirl like Calli or Ame, or attempt to guilt trip losers that seriously care about the emotions of millionaires like Kiara or Ina. Kiara is a shrill narcissist that isn't entertaining about it like Kronii's pretend character, she's just a typical attention whore with serious emotional issues that needs to see a shrink because she can't take comparisons or mean words on the internet (aka an average woman). And Ame tried to tie chat around her finger in the first week of debut and it's never stopped haunting her. She asked chat for help in every single obstacle in her way, I can only assume to make chat feel engaged and wanted, but now she bitches about backseating every other day and now moralfags about funposting.

Ina - opinion went up, thought she was a terrible streamer when she started, her dorky sense of humor has won through and she's a lot better at it now.

Mori - opinion went up, her intro stream was terrible, and it took her about 6mo to find a way to make streaming not a painful experience for the audience. she's starting to figure it out. still the worst streamer of the group by a long shot but she's getting there

Gura - went from pretty fun to must watch; always says something mindblowingly stupid or memeable. she's a weirdo and entertaining all the more so for it.

Kiara - meh. she got a better mic which fixed her biggest technical problem, but overall she's just an irritating and poor copy of pekora.

Watson - the least remarkable of the group at the start still is sorta unremarkable, she's an ok streamer, and moderately memeable, sometimes she's a funny gremlin. I'll give her credit for trying new things, easily the most inventive of the group, i suspect it's a matter of time before she finds her groove.

I only changed my opinion about Gura. I remember the first few months her streams were painful to watch. Dead air with a few cutsey noises sprinkled in here and there was hardly content, yet everyone was eating it up for some reason. She improved a lot over time but is still meh. I remember at one point she even said that she has to take a break because she doesnt have anything to talk about on stream..

Everyone thought Temple of Doom was the worst it could get until that Crystal Skull abomination came out, too.

Gura - started out trying to play the character Cover wanted to her to play, leading to her playing dumb a lot. She's since thrown that out, and found her own style, which it less cutesy and more sassy. Past Gura and current Gura might as well be two completely different stream experiences. While the streams are more enjoyable, I sometimes miss old Gura. She seems to have shed her jinx curse, it doesn't seem to happen very often anymore.

Calli - Started out borderline unwatchable for me, and is still pretty much unwatchable, except for her chatting streams.

Ame - didn't care for her much at first, but now I respect her creativity. Still don't watch her too much, though.

Kiara - started out unwatchable, though she seems to have fallen into an interesting form of GFE niche. When I can stand her voice, it's comfy to put her on in the background and just let her chatter away.

Ina - started out as pretty boring, but has since learned to embrace her sassy side in a comfy way. Her streams are probably the most improved for me.

Better than en2, but the floodgates are now so far wide open. They must accept the burden of the gens after. I hope the girls tell the en side to fuck off for awhile for noth en1 and en2's sake.

Ina still my favorite EN, but on average I think the council is slightly better

I think all the girls are great, the thing that changed is the EN environment. Ame was my favorite since the debut day and continued to be my oshi until very, very recently. I like the other girls, but I was never as invested in them as I was with Ame. If they were streaming and Ame wasn't, then I'd watch them.

But over the past year, we have gained a lot of high quality EN vtubers. So now if Ame or Rosemi aren't streaming, instead of Gura, Ina, Kiara, and Calli, I turn to people like Selen, Pippa, Pomu, Shiki, Luto, and others that fit my interests more.

My opinion on Myth hasn't changed, but my level of engagement definitely has
