Two things.
1) Originally, Mukbang was a different kind of disgusting, namely 3D GFE, with the truly enormous portions only becoming the standard later on. It was closer to a virtual dinner date than feederism bait.
2) Drawing parallels between a stream about inducing pain and surmounting it (or failing) and mukbang is somewhat odd to me.

The Lazulight stream was good because of the banter and Pomu almost fucking dying.
