This was my first time seeing her on stage, and man, she lived up to the hype. She ranges from weird to boring on-stream, but on-stage, she truly is an idol goddess. Gen 1 material, indeed.

Festival is genuinely one of the best all around entertainers in the group. Comedy, stream presentation, singing, dancing, and genuine conversation - she can do all of them exceptionally well. She's probably not the best in Hololive at any one of them (except maybe dancing), but she's in the top handful for each category.

The thing that really gets me about this narrative is that it entirely relies on the assumption that the girls never talk to each other off-screen. The recent Aqua incident proves otherwise, but Aqua did touch first to be fair, and it seems like they're close enough now that she didn't mind it. As for Pekora, I think Matsuri never went too far with her. I vaguely remember that in their first meeting Matsuri was a bit overenthusiastic but from then on actively tried to keep her distance and "be good". I think there was a clip on that.
