I see where you're coming from, but there's still a long way she can go before you lose that. Aki Rosenthal has more than half a million subs and her chat is extremely comfy. You'll recognize the regulars, and so will she. A lot of chat interaction, without needing superchat to be noticed, and stuff like that.
A more steady growth so that newchamas can get used to the culture instead of overpowering everyone with an explosive growth and spamming memes is probably more important in maintaining chat culture than having a specific number of people. People who stick around with Aki want that experience, instead of the usual "chat treats streamer like a trained monkey" behavior you see when there's an explosive growth.
Still, even then, it breaks my heart to see how underappreciated her MVs she puts so much effort into are, comparatively, and it still makes me hope she'll grow more, even if I lose the chat I treasure so much in the process. I think before Suisei's latest MV she was the only one doing fully mocapped MVs with her own choreography in Hololive.
