I did some really quick math the other night out of curiosity and everyone in Niji EN including Petra and Rosemi is making an average of at least $300 per stream in SCs. Lazulight's doing better overall (Pomu's been getting a lot of four figure streams, Elira has pretty dedicated gachis, Selen gets a lot because she's the new hotness of the division) but even Rosemi gets one or two akas per stream and a few gachis throwing yellows and oranges around. They aren't "scraping by" just because they don't have the insane numbers Holos do.

I was very dismissive of NijiEN when it release there 1st and 2nd wave, I was calling them failures for not pulling the numbers that Holo had. However, after watching the egg clip, i've been given them an actual change by taking the time to watch the fish, selen, rosesmi, or petra and I'm flabbergasted by how funny and comfortable the streams have been.

In a regular holoEN stream, I have to compete with thousands of other shitposters making it difficult to pay attention to the chat and video, especially if the streamer isn't having alot of fun with the shared game hololive has permission to.

I like both Niji and Holo on the whole (though I'm pretty lukewarm on HoloEN in particular). Perceiving Holos success as an anomaly rather than the baseline all others should be isn't so easy, but if Rosemi is earning hundreds of dollars a week on top of her job then she's doing better than 99% of the /vt/ schizos calling her a failure.

They'll never have as big numbers as Holo but they have their own audience and way of doing things that I actually prefer.
