Actually trying to roleplay to some degree (building more tall than wide) could be entertaining, but it would take effort and 99% of the people that play these games are too used to painting the map to do anything else.

It's actually the opposite. Long form series like this do bad stream wise cause of retards who stop in for 10 seconds getting filtered by not immediately understanding what's happening and then leaving. This is why all the top streamers of twitch do variety content or barely play games
That said I think chuubas could actually do well with these kinds of games since they can also do story times or other random shit while playing. But I'm probably biased as a /gsg/fag

The only person I know that plays this game is tommykay and I think he averages like 3,000 viewers. These types of games just hard filter anyone that doesn't immediately know what's going on and if you miss 10-20 minutes of content because you need to do something you get lost in what's happening.

CKII is probably the most accessible /gsg/ game to watch, I think, doubly so if you throw in all the supernatural shit.

Definitely better for a casual audience than some of the more intensive games in the genre, I think.

eu4 is such a old game niche game. I did WC run back in 2014.

Even then it there were few streamers and they had low numbers. And they could do insane strats and today one decided to fuck the game the other plays rim world constantly.
