The audience is a little different between 3DPD streamers and vtubers, twitch in general especially over the past couple years is very anti-titty streamer because of what they perceive as "unfair" moderation on the part of twitch staff in that most people get small bans for incredibly minor stuff while girls can get away with hot tub streams and so on, so anyone who's a 3DPD streamer and isn't an idiot would play into the whole "Yeah I'm not like those other girls fuck titty streamers and their simps" thing. Vtubers on the other hand, the community is the total opposite and plays into lewd shit as much as possible.
