That seer and caustic spam in such close quarter combat really highlights how much a clusterfuck the matches are near the end of the game. It almost impossible to play through the tournament without at least one of them in your team so whoever is not main for either one of them, the team is screwed.

Astel slowly losing his mind day by day in these scrims. For reference, you're not allowed to hit any opposing team within their territory within the first 30 seconds of the game but astel is a menhera chad. imo though that portion that matsuri loots should belong to Tree anyway honestly

Let me break down what I think is the problem with Hinano's team. She is my oshi, but I need to get this out of my chest.

1. Lack of cooperation. Mostly this stemmed from the lack of practice together. They only practiced together once before the scrims started. Most of their problems in the first and second day of scrims were problems that should have been found during their practice. Well, I think Hinano was busy preparing for her new cover and then her right eye was hurting so much she had to take a break for two days.
2. The burden and expectation of being a Master and the one giving orders. Watching her streams, I noticed that Hinano works best if she's the second-in-command, giving sub-order. Like in the 5th CR CUP with Spygea, Kagayaki with Gorilla. If she is calm and relaxed, I think she's able to make good decisions like during APEX Matsuri Gaiden, or during yesterday's 7th round with Mayuyu. But that's just the thing: she was seriously stressed out during the scrims and either being indecisive or making careless decisions.

3. The Legends picked for each member. Personally, I think since Hinano's style of strategy is either camping or ratting, they need to have Loba and/or a legend that can scout. When camping, Hinano hesitates due to lack of ammo. So Loba should take care of that. And when ratting, they need to scout so they don't get surprised. And the one who scouts should be Hinano since she tends to be the one in front, rather than Sena who tends to lag behind.

4. Hinano never shoot until the enemy actually died/knocked down. She always shoots until the armor break, then reload, then turned to another enemy without actually finishing the job on the first enemy. I think she is used to work with people who automatically know to make cover shots when she is reloading. So the solution is they need to focus on downing one enemy, rather than 3 at the same time.

I tried to be as objective as possible, but I only watch Hinano so I can't say anything about Ren or Sena other than they suck at dome fight, but great at long range. So they should just stay at a safe distance giving cover shots while Hinano fights at close range.

Noah should honestly push back on Uruca a bit on having her play Wraith. Noah is W+M1+Q ever since the Pathfinder days, she expects to push win, pop a battery and push again, not push under covering fire and then Q out or Portal to rotate, she gets annoyed when there's fresh meat on the table she can't eat and easily provoked into going all in.

I actually think the problem with Noah’s team is just communication between Noah and Towa. Ars is effectively little more than fire support from range and Towa tries to protect her from some reason when she should be with Noah instead. The game where Ars’s discord crashed was some of the most coordinated play between Noah and Towa that was ultimately only foiled by lack of ammo.

Out of all the VSPO girls, Nazuna has the most experience playing with weaker teams/teaching how to play Valo, R6S followed by probably QP(babysitting Hoshikawa Sara and Yakumo Beni) and it shows with their comms.

Former week 1 963fam here, Noah's suffering is pretty tasty. Her passion is so obvious that she can't contain herself but she's trying so hard. Her formula of sticking to a stronger player or someone close to her level(previously Sumire and Chihiro, now Bora) can't be applied to her current team and she now has to adjust. We seent it before when she was teamed up with Matsuri and Fubuki. It's happening again with the kicker of Uruca causing further debuff.

I disagree on the winning = disadvantage bit. If you win an early engagement you ideally get better leveled armor and all their stuff. Fight, resupply at deathboxes, fight again. The big advantage is being able to snowball the armor advantage. Replicators also exist to fix supply issues.

This is only a disadvantage if the fight has gone on for too long. Yes if the Caustic sets up shop it is time to move on but otherwise you play the game entirely at the mercy of ground loot and team composition.

I was a Fuse main for the most part of his release until currently. Consider that the cluster can be fired fairly accurate and far, my own testing was from Fragment's rocky area just after the train highway into the second floor door of the streamer building(you know the one). It also fits through most windows though it gets stuck on bars at times(also bounces directly off KD shields) and lastly, lasts a fucking long time.
Fuse can pop a bunch of barrels, break doors and Caustic can not replace those barrels until the cluster ends. Can breach or just stay back, continue to harass for basically free.

Alas I remember only Morinaka was playing Fuse for a while. No one is confident since Fuse on his own is weak to getting picked off during rotations and everyone wants mobility and options or rat/defense options.

Trying to figure out Astel's thought processes is a fool's task. On one hand, he clearly recognizes and acknowledges that dome fights, and close range fights in general, are obvious weakness in their performances thus far. On the other, the Wingman and Flatline are his favorite weapons in the game, and he looks like he's prioritizing polishing up Roboco and Choco over actually winning games. It wouldn't surprise me that he's just trying to put in aim practice in the scrims before switching to a shotgun in the actual tournament.

Astel is decent enough that he'll win the engagement, But when it comes to dome fights and relying on your teammates to do their part, it's way too risky.
Might as well pick them off in mid-range where there is less pressure compared to getting rushed in forcing yourself into a dome fight.

CR cup showed how easily they got abused when teams challenged them in a short-range battle.

From what I see, Chi seem to be more used to going in and dealing damage so outside of Bloodhounds ult the character seem to giving her difficulties.
This leaves Uto having to take offensive but Uto always seem to fumble since from her past Apex streams she’s more of a long range sniper position but the tournament is not letting her have any of said weapons. She’s also overly cautious since she always spend her time healing even when the situation ask for cover fire and she’s far away from the team probably due to her more used to solo play.
Kazaki doesn’t have much problems. She knows how to caustic well enough.

my understanding is that with caustic the comp becomes way more campy then with gib. wraith's role in that comp is to let them rotate safely and to bail them out of bad situations (eg. someone gets downed) with her portal, which would normally be something that the dome would do, and because of that, wraiths in this comp play way less aggressively, since if they go down the team can't really run. bloodhound still plays normally with scans, but can push aggressively with ult.

i have never watched hololive in my life, i'm following chii-chan's team because i like kazaki.
