Ina may not be amazing at anatomy or have interesting compositions, but her completed illustrations are professional in quality and and game companies are willing to pay her handsomely for her illustrations. That alone already places her in the top percentage of contemporary digital artists.

This is probably the main issue. She has a day job and a vtubing job, which means her the time put into her art is balanced against the ever looking threat of responsibilities and deadlines.

I mean, she's not Japanese so when people say she's good think of it it like how a foreign person's Japanese is less harshly critiqued than a native Japanese speaker.

As an artist, i admire her. Even generic anime is extremely hard to do.

We don't do that, we appreciate her art and love it, but I haven't seen anyone boasting her art is the best out there.

of course there's minor flaws anyone could nitpick but its overall extremely well done.

only real negative I have to say is that she has a bad case of

it works, but she could definitely be more dynamic.

She also needs to draw things with more interaction, for example while she's normally shipped with Ame a good draw idea she could do is one where she's hanging out with Kiara at the ENHolohouse. Normally they're not too close to each other, Ina even finds Kiara slightly annoying, but as coworkers and roommates she at least puts on the show of being friendly with her. Kiara naturally being dense doesn't realize how much she's disliked by Ina. One day she pushes Ina a little too far and Ina would just lose it, slamming Kiara down onto the kitchen floor and pinning her down with her foot on her neck. As Kiara uselessly struggles to fight back against Ina, Ina would stomp on her stomach, knocking the breath out of her while she takes the opportunity to walk over to the fridge and pull out a package of eggs. Kiara regaining her breath would try to rise, but is quickly subdued by Ina again as she rips off her panties and exposes her privates to the cool air. Kiara would shudder as a cool round object rubs against her naughty chicken parts, crying as she begs Ina to stop, still not understanding why this is happening, Ina would lean in and whisper in her ears "shut the fuck up you dumb chicken, you can go when you take all the eggs inside yourself". and with that Kiara would feel the egg slowly enter her, unable to fight back as any stray movement would cause the egg to shatter inside her. As Ina proceeds through the package of eggs, slowly inserting 1 egg after the other inside her, Kiara would just weep on the floor in sorrow in disgust and humiliations.

I think Ina just needs to draw things like that, i would do well for her portfolio to branch out some.

Her art is good, but her streams are terrible.

It is technically great, and it's amazing what Ina has accomplished while still being so young. Veteran JP artists acknowledging her skill is a testament to her value.
But for me personally, it is lacking a bit of "soul", memes aside. Her art is great and perfectly fitting for the commercial products she produces, but it isn't art I'd personally go out of my way to enjoy.

As much as I like Ina and respect her art, this is the one thing I notice on them. I can't see her style on them but I can't see Ina's touch/personality in them. To be fair, I haven't seen enough of her OC designs.

She's absolutely top tier, she's not an art god the likes of which happen 10 times in a generation and everybody knows by name, but she's definitely at the level just under that. Fuck's sake just look at some of the art EN gen 2 is getting, she's pretty far above a lot of what some people consider "professional".

She's good, but she's very much at the industry standards level. You can find thousands of people equally good on pixiv or artstation. It's good and she'll never have trouble finding work, but she's far from being the top tiers of the art world.

She is very good and does some background stuff well but it does seem like she is a little uncomfortable around faces.

Ina should add facial expressions/angles to her reps like she does with body poses.

her doing video game work is probably why she's does that. A lot of that work is draw the same character in like 50 different movement poses. So the ability to consistently repeat composition with different characters, or minor alterations is a valuable skill there.

She doesn't draw hang it in an art museum and ponder the deeper meaning of the pose bullshit. She used to drawing as a component of a larger art. I think that deserves respect. Gets her paid too.

Ina easily the master in this field. Pro artist usually consider perspectives and exaggerate poses to fit the theme. If you just plainly draw a pose, the art looks stiff as fuck.
Also most the art she drew as Ina are 80% of her ability as best. Artist never go all out on "free art". If you want to see her full power, you need to commission a few thousand dollar.

Why do other artists praise Ina so highly? Because they understand the harsh fucking truth of illustrating for money: any skilled amateur can replicate a given style given enough time. But you get paid by the piece not the hour. Some of Ina’s non Hololive works are quite impressive but she spent weeks on those. Her on stream work is very high quality for the time she invests while also chatting.

Lots of artists make “better” pieces (but it takes them a long time). Some are as fast. Her work rate x quality is fucking insane and that’s what pays the bills and other pros recognize how important that is.

Some of it also a style choice. Ina likes cute anime girls. She’s makes a ton of money drawing exactly that. At the top end everyone has to find their niche, you don’t really benefit from branching out (professionally, on her own time she can obviously do what she wants).

her art is not as overrated as Mori's music

I love Ina and her roommate's art, but it's true that most of it does look like very high quality gacha splash art which can make it look a bit samey.
