I am still wondering with Abigail but she's been keeping up this act for a while now for it to be a facade. She seems legit, but doesn't really do any preaching or proselytizing. Just seems like a really seriously seiso streamer who plays wholesome games and talks about wholesome topics. Then there's things like this:

She's obviously being a goof, but, you just kind of wonder. Also, I'm not sure about the people she collabs with.

Very relaxed and cozy and engages her chat regularly. If she's a Christian (Lutheran I think) she's doing a very good job of being one without being an annoying one. "Living by example" rather than trying to convert people, I suppose.

It is on her avatar design page which I don't have so I can't share it. As for the legitimacy of her "Christian" streaming, I want to believe that she's on the up and up then I see things like pic related, and how in her About on Twitch she talks about eliminating weeb degeneracy and I think "no, this is a fucking put on, isn't it?". I'm too cynical in my old age I guess. Her streams are absolutely wholesome tho, there's no denying that. It isn't like she has little "oopsie"s that reveal her true nature or intentional "slip ups" that reveal a joke in progress. She sticks to it, which is what fucks with me the most.

Not him, but for me I think it comes down to uniqueness and, as odd as this might sound, respect. Like, Twitch is loaded with degenerates and lowlifes, many out for just the allmighty dollar or just to be influencing / famous jugheads. It seems a weird place for an actual Christian to plop themselves down among, even tho that would be the most missionary thing to do. So, if she is legit, then she is an oasis in a sea of suck and that would carry something with me. >"Living by example" rather than trying to convert people
As much as it's talked down on, preaching the Gospel is a tenant of the religion, instructed to all followers of Christ. I'd implore all believers to be upfront about their faith and bold. Parents as well MUST raise their children as Christian and teach them that it's their own faith and not their parents to be handed down. You'd be a fool to allow your child to "figure it out on their own" and go to Hell.

>> No.812598

>>811829
I actually agree with you, but there are many ways to teach someone else your ways and thus coax them into following your faith than just preaching. Living by example, being an actual good person, people see that and they start to wonder why. What is it about this person that makes them so content and happy? Why am I not like them? How can I find that peace? If they are brave, they will ask the question, and when that question comes, then you can teach them the ways.

I understand the tenet. I understand, also, that many people who do preach come from a good place. They want to save your immortal soul, or to help you achieve everlasting life in God's kingdom, but the nature of free will is always a question that even the faithful must endure. Inevitably people have to choose Christ.

This was what happened with me and a lot of my old friends. Our christian upbringing was a bit too strict to the point where we were either treated as too stupid or we were taught to shun people who didn't believe, to avoid people who weren't like us. Granted it was a whole lot less toxic as say, Jehovah's and its derivatives, in the end though a lot of us chose to exit the faith half-heartedly. The irony is that 4chan taught me more about accepting people who are different than me than my christian parents.

I mean I'm Christian and even I know tje Greek in the Bible is kind of shitty, which makes sense because it was written for a general audience by people who spoke it as a second language. She could make it like a "try not to be lewd challenge," and punish them whenever they say something lewd. It could be something as simple as muting them and putting a picture of a muzzle over their avatars. Hell, they'd probably enjoy that.

I continue to believe that Abi is actually just Ironmouse. Have we ever seen the two of them together at the same time? They sound quite similar.

>Aren't most 4chan users who have been here long enough Christian?
It's less that 4chan users become Christian over time, and more that over time, being a Christian has become a contrarian lifestyle, so Christians are less unwelcome here than other places.

Ironmouse is pretty mainstream. I don't think Abbey would be as bummed about her level of exposure as a streamer if she was already successful in another persona.

>Abi is actually just Ironmouse
Now this is a rrat. Abby's voice is kinda South-Parkish, but that's just because she's not a great voice actor. Other than that, there are basically no similarities between them at all.
