You know, it probably would've worked better if they combined the prelude with the omen video and posted it as one long video. There would've been more people watching it initially instead of a lot of people feeling burned by the countdown witnesser stream that ended with them just posting a link in chat and prelude lore video without a hint of what is going on and a vague date. They are now watching it later after everyone got to know what the trialer actually details but will they be back for the next video for pre-stream after EN2? EN2 probably already has a scheduled debut date. By the way they are shilling out these vids it is safe to assume then that we will get a teaser of the gen after 15 days. That means 1 month of nothing. People have been waiting and asking so I guess this is a compromise that they did to make sure that people keep on guessing. It leaves you an impression that management is certainly doing something but not necessarily giving more than they can because for sure they are being advised to not say shit yet until Irys is done with her 1 month

They could go with 'artificial gods' for third gen. Mad scientists, secret organizations; splicing the DNA of Holos gods and mythological creatures to create man-made gods.

Going that direction could help ENstaff to come up with unique designs, it gives them a unique theme. The could make a gen mixed with mad scientists, agents, bounty hunters and monsters.

What's the sudden interest in adding a high amount of lore? Usually, the characters have a small snippet of backstory that the streamers themselves can expand upon.

Even if Cover doesn't do anything, the holomems will eventually create their own lore and make them more and more complex. Here are some example of lore that were pretty much entirely thought up by the actresses themselves, not Cover:

It's bound to happen eventually to any franchise that are character-focused. And honestly, world/characterbuilding is a good thing if they're serious about appealing to a wider range of audiences. Though it appears that HoloEN is starting to make the lore of their newer talents more complex from the get-go.

I think the introduction of HoloAlt (whatever the fuck it actually is) is only encouraging the other Holos to go chu2 in regards to their lore. Lamy pretty much wants to retcon some of the stuff that she mentioned on her debut just to make herself more powerful. Even Subaru (jokingly) alluded to having wished that she could've been memed into a witch instead of a duck. Actually this doesn't work either because a holomem only have power over their own character(s). "Are you the most powerful Holo" includes every other holomems so you can't take it as fact until you hear what all the other parties involved have to say (which probably won't happen)
