I'm reposting this from the confession thread just to hear your thoughts on my opinion.

>Gura is starting to filter me hard with her lesbian bullshit, and more poignantly it's obvious management is restricting her too much. Todays stream was changed to Minecraft because they feared backlash or trouble due to the Police Simulator game which she was supposed to play. More than that, I fear that her own audience has devoured her in a way. Meaning, there's way too much people watching her and a vast majority of them seem to only be interested in vidya and have no connection with general anime subculture apart from the memes and superficial shit. I kinda feel she lost her soul, unintentionally, and that she might be feeling more lonely than ever. If I check out smaller chuubas it's obvious how the chat - tuber interactions are much more tangible and intimate. But the sheer weight and size of Gura's chat and audience makes it utterly impossible to "connect" with her in any meaningful fashion. It feels like I'm just watching something separate from me, like TV. And that goes against the point of vtubers imo. It completely removes the appeal. It doesn't feel like a two way road.

Because the alternative and the original plan was to play a game that I never saw and neither has Gura played, presumably. And instead of that we got the safe, corporate, dull and eventless Minecraft stream, and all Minecraft streams are the same shit no matter who plays it. It's rehashed content in the worst possible way and completely shits on the fact Gura deserves better and can do better if they just let her do her thing. Three streams this week are pleb shit - two minecrafts and Apex. This brings in the numbers but quality is absent. DMC is at least something she likes playing, I get that, but I'm not going to pretend I like watching the utter dullness that is Minecraft, a game about nothing, with no story or goal or any sort of genuine stakes. And Apex is the definition of soulless and generic.

It's the complete imbalance that is getting to me. The Gawr stream could be godlike, but I feel we aren't getting as much quality as we did. And there's too few members only streams. Far, far too few. I don't know if this is her choice or if the management is just aiming for numbers but it bothers me.
