The biggest reason is that most of them never wanted to be idols in the first place, they're just streamers. The handful that wanted to be idols are too old for it, not good looking enough, have severe social anxiety, health issues, or realized the daily grind and low pay of being a traditional idol isn't worth it vs playing video games from their house.
