I have misgivings on the general quality of male ENtubers which makes me skeptical about future EN Nijimales but I'll always check them out first.
I don't know if there are any specific traits I'm looking for, it's the usual general qualities of being fun and there are numerous ways to pull that out just as there are numerous other ways to fail.

Painful detail? Get ready for cringe. Basically, when I got into chuubas I only knew a certain company that we all know and love/hate but that one just wasn't doing it for me. But friends told me this is the only good one. One day, I was looking for random streams to play in the background while I work from home. That's when YouTube recommended me Belmond. It was one of his Minecraft streams and he wore his pirate outfit, I instantly liked it and thought it's his normal one. I saw that he is from Nijisanji and was not sure if I should follow him because all my friends kept going with the Nijisanji = Black company shit. But he managed to turn me around. What I like the most about him is his deep voice and his slow speaking. This benefits my N4 peasant brain a lot. Often he stays silent for a bit, says a few phrases, gets back to mining. Also, he has special ability to switch between the normal chat topic and superchats, he reads 99% of his superchats btw and often reacts to them. I have sent lots to him, from telling him about my first time getting drunk to asking him what his favorite pokemon is, he always read it and interacted with me. I appreciate that. Also, he usually likes every tweet you send him on Twitter. He really cares about interactions. He has hardcore fans who donate akasupa to him every stream like twice. Once, a big fan of him who is in every one of his streams and actively comments tweeted that he had to get hospitalized and was sad about not being there live, Belmond mentioned his name in his stream and wished him a quick recovery and thanked him for always being there. This is basically what I like about Belmond

Regardless, it is similar to me. Not the exact same of course, one is totally fictional while the other is a real life person with an avatar. But if someone chooses to stream the way Masaru and Aki-kun do, then it's fine. If the voice didn't fit, I wouldn't like it. Women voice some guys in anime and it sounds fine to me. On the other hand, there are a lot of female streamers that, if they were using a male avatar with the same voice, I'd dislike.
