I went to the movies recently. It was a nice change of pace. Getting out. Breathing fresh air. Being away from rrats and drama. Every moment in the film felt impactful and entertaining. No need to wait for the one off clippable moment here and there. Vtubers just can't compete now that the novelty's worn off, at least not at their current skill level.

And their lack of self improvement after this year is horrifying. These lazy whores are so behind on their reps it's like they dropped them completely. Like I did. To watch chubas. It's really made me realize that vtubers are a worthless, stagnant time sink for weak minded men who can't pull thesmelves away from their fake parasocial relationships. They're the ME ME ME video come to life. The chubas don't improve. The audience isn't inspired to improve. It's downright purgatorial.

Personally, I've already reduced my vtube watching to clips and shitposting while focusing on my backlog and life stuff. If I ever get into it again, it'll be as a streamer myself rather than a mere observer. You can all find your own path, but I believe this is the way.

Are you guys telling me that you actually put your full attention into watching the streams as opposed to putting it on the second monitor while you game or work?

I took some time off from vtubers to see my grandmother in Northern Oregon. As soon as I got back to my apartment and unpacked my stuff I sat down and watched Pekora play Minecraft. Maybe what you need is some time away
