There was silence for a few seconds, then Holo-chan continued talking: "My hobbies are singing and playing video games! My special skill is being cute! Um, I'm a good girl but I can also be a little wild sometimes. I hope we can all have fun together!" And with that, she did a little twirl that made her skirt flare out.

All the boys in class, who were already in love with her, now went head over heals. They started pounding their desks and shouting. It took a long time for Susan-sensei to regain control, which she did by pounding her desk and screaming: "Order, order!"

When things finally quited down, it was time to assign Holo-chan a desk. This caused another fight to break out.

First was Chat-kun: "Please! Sit next to me! Boku will give you money! Boku will give you ALL my money!"

Reddit-kun argued back: "No! sit next to me! Boku will be your servant, boku will do anything for you!"

The next appeal came from a very strange child: 4-chan-kun. "You should sit next to me! Atashi am also a cute girl, so we should be friends!" This made Holo-chan very confused and uncomfortable, because 4-chan-kun was very obviously a boy wearing a girl's uniform.

"Please just ignore 4-chan-kun. he's a perverted idiot." said the 4th boy. "You should sit next to me, Twitter-kun! Twitter-kun will make you famous. Twitter-kun has many celebrity friends."

"No you don't!" said Reddit-kun. "Those aren't your friends, you're just sending lewd pictures to random celebrities!"

"Yeah, well... you do the same thing!" Stammered Twitter-kun. Reddit-kun blushed and looked-down, ashamed of himself. Holo-chan giggled cutely, but did not seem particularly embarrassed.

In the end it was decided that Holo-chan should sit in the very center of the class, so that everyone could enjoy her company. Reddit-kun sat to her left, and Twitter-kun sat to her right. Chat-kun sat in front of her, but he turned his chair around so that he could stare at her. Meanwhile 4-chan-kun stared silently from behind.

The class resumed, with them setting like that. All 4 of them stared at her like idiots, learning nothing. Chat-kun kept trying to beg for her attention, Twitter-kun and Reddit-kun drew pictures of her, and 4-chan-kun simply muttered strange things and laughed creepily to himself behind her. Nonetheless, Holo-chan bore it all with perfect grace, and seemed quite happy. She seemed to love the attention, despite how weird the boys giving it to her were.

Gradually, the class got used to Holo-chan. She was the most popular girl in school, and everyone knew it. Her shoe locker was always overflowing with love letters, which she giggled at and ignored with good grace. Chat-kun bought her lunch every day, but she somehow made it seem as if she was doing him a favor by accepting. Reddit-kun and Twitter-kun constantly fought for her attention, but she smiled at both of them.

4-chan-kun was caught trying to take pictures of Holo-chan in the bathroom. "But.. atashi am also a cute girl... it's ok for me to do this" he argued. Somehow he wasn't expelled. Holo-chan did her best to ignore 4-chan-kun.

Twitter-kun brought in all his connections on her behalf. He wrote letters to newspapers, called all his friends, and sent her picture to fashion magazines. Unfortunately, he was an unknown spaz, so all messages got dumped in the trash, unread by any real celebrities. He did keep the postal service working, though.

Reddit-kun did the same as Twitter-kun, except he didn't even send his letters out. He just passed fanfiction to his family and friends, annoying them constantly with his endless sperging about how perfect and wonderful Holo-chan was. Pretty soon, he became a hikikomori, unable to talk to his family or friends about anything except Holo-chan.

Holo-chan let it slip that she was actually a rich girl. "Watashi.... etto... watashi gets a lot of money from family! Plus merchandise, superchats, and memberships!" She spoke like a robber baron, but somehow made it sound cute. Chat-kun fell deeper in love, and gave her even more money. Reddit-kun and Twitter-kun seethed, wishing they had money to give her too. 4-chan-kun worked harder on his erotic Holo-chan fanfiction.

After about a month, Susan-sensei made another announcement to the class.

"There's going to be another transfer student joining the class. Please be as nice to her as you have been to Holo-chan"

Her? As soon as they heard that word, the class went wild. Reddit-kun and Twitter-kun started texting all their friends. Chat-kun continued talking to Holo-chan, but he kept asking her if she knew the new girl. 4-chan-kun went on another of his insane rants to himself. Holo-chan looked nervous, but said nothing.

The door opened. In walked another beautiful girl. But... somehow, slightly less beautiful beautiful than Holo-chan. Even though she had a perfect figure, and even nicer hair and clothes than Holo-chan, there was just something off about her.

There was a brief awkward silence. Then she spoke up. "um... Hi! My name's Nijisanji! Please give me a cute nickname!" She seemed very desparate to be liked. It was cute, but also kind of annoying.

Chat-kun answered first. "Should we call you Niji-san?"

"No! Not that. Call me Niji-chan!"

Despite this harsh response, the name stuck. Everyone in class started calling her Niji-san. Holo-chan smiled smugly. 4-chan-kun went back to writing his Holo-chan fat-fetish fanfic.

"Now then" said Susan-sensei. "It's time to decide seating. This was a bit difficult last time..."

"Oh no!" Said Niji-san. "I'd hate it if you all made a big fuss over lil ol' me..." She was super cute, but it seemed insincere.

No one in the class said anything. After a moment of silence, Susan-sensei spoke up. "Um... you can just take that empty desk in the corner then..."

Niji-san pouted. "What? Don't you know what a big deal I am? I'm super cute, super rich, and I've always been the most popular girl in school! *I* deserve the center seat! Just give me a few weeks, and I'll be running this place!"

Nobody listened to her, they had already turned away and gone back to fawning over Holo-chan. Susan-sensei motioned for Niji-san to take her seat, and she did so, with a foul expression on her face. Class continued as usual, with Holo-chan the super popular kid in the center, and Niji-san trying in vain to get attention while she sat in the corner.

Later that night, Niji-chan was found dead at her home by police due to drug overdose.
The class was informed, but due to the brevity of her time there, no special mourning was done.
Her family held a quiet funeral for her and then moved away.
No longer was there a niji in class, not for the rest of Holo-chan's time there, until after she graduated from the school later on, but that's another story.
