I don't think her model and theme particularly draw people in. They check her out, see it's a mother nature themed character with a soft voice and immediately conclude it's bland and leave. However those who give her a chance are more likely to become loyal viewers. I know personally Fauna's one of only a couple vtubers who can consistently make me laugh, which makes me actively want to watch her streams and vods, not just when I need something on a second screen. She's also really good at interacting with chat, which increases that fan loyalty.

Fauna is only funny to desperate, lonely men. She steals half her jokes from Northern Lion, the other half of her "content" is nostalgia baiting, the lowest form of content, even lower than react slop. She appeals to pseudo intellectuals (see her entire "String theory explanation" clip, in which she absolutely butchered the explanation of string theory) who fancy themselves intelligent, but in reality are no more intelligent than Redditors. Her ASMR is so mid it's painful; she bought a 10,000 dollar microphone accessory only to deliver ASMR that could easily be replicated on a 50 dollar Blue Yeti.
If you want a quality chuuba who not only loves her audience but also does ASMR significantly better, I recommend Pillow. Unironically just a better, more interesting version of Fauna. Wouldn't even be fair to call Pillow a copycat because she mogs Fauna so hard the two aren't even comparable.
