To be brutally honest, streams are almost always boring as shit and people only enjoy them because they're lonely and need background noise and to feel part of something bigger, whilst they're alone in their dark rooms. Clips used to highlight the good parts but they're all SEA clip-bait-sexpest-clipniggers these days so they're never actual fun highlights, just sexual shit with terrible translations and editing. They're also short as fuck. Vtubing just needs to go back to video content with less streams. It's all shit and at least drama is funny.

Dirty brown people in every single concivable forum are paid to shitpost on everything from your politics to sportsball to nerd fandoms and any topic of discusion is going to be flooded by them and their bot responses. Be it Niji or a Letter Agengy out to ruin things because 2016 convinced them this was the subversises hub thats need cntrolling or trannies that didnt make it into Hololive and are paying people in gift cards that shit is happening everywhere

Then you remember you are here on 4chan. A place that was always a shitpost Mecca but its ability to enjoy anything was utterly destroyed by the ending of Mass Effect 3. Many people on here never recovered from their Wifu Tali being ripped away from them and always have this utterly cynical hateful edge that can only exist in a world where they cared about something once and had it ripped away. Now they look for something to hate at all times and are usually the ones that still enjoy a small bit of vtubing but react with utter frothing hate for anything outside their niche as if EA was in charge of it

Then theres the newfag shitposters. They just left Reddit and just want to get in on the "i hate this for the lolz right anonymous?". They arent being paid they arent dealing with the emotion fallout of Mass Effect (and in fact may never have played a game besides sewer surfers or Fortnight) they are trying to fit in like your dorky lil brother mimicking what he thinks you do to be cool

I love vtubers and 95% of my time on this board I stay in my oshis thread.
But I also love funny things that don't affect me or my oshi directly, so sometimes I venture to the catalog and look for the newest yabs or meltdowns, have a chuckle and move on. It's a slow but good life

I like the vtubers I watch, I am indifferent to the ones I don't watch, and I only hate a few. I don't treat vtubers or streams as tv channels to flip through. Doing that means you don't have any attachment to any vtubers, which makes you not a fan of vtubers.

Sincere answer: I used to like p much everyone in Nijisanji until #WhereIsSelen. Deffo watched some more than the others, but I thought they all generally had good chemistry with each other. Same for HoloEN. I also watch some indies (Chibidoki, Honey Goblin, Teddi Sundae and OniGiri are all in regular rotation).

I don't think I actively disliked any chuubas until the black screen stream.
