I think this gen is actually a resounding success for EN and a redemption of Cover's overseas management. That said, I'll play along and try to find some criticisms.

Her infamous 'respect my collab choices' comment turned out to be nothing but pure autism, rather than any kind of content statement. Whether or not that's why her numbers are lower than the others, she's firmly the rump of the gen. The fact that she has by far the most experience and years put in makes me think she might be secretly resentful of her current standing. That's a volatile status quo and I'm concerned that there's a seed of future drama in it.

Great singer but her karaokes are middling, which suggests she relies a lot on studio polishing. I'm a massive, massive fan of her previous musical work but her Advent output has just not wowed me the same way. Her actual streaming charisma is one note too, which she's obscured by bringing in her more charismatic and interesting family members. The most condemning observation I could give her is actually built off of just that: she distracts you from her own lackluster streaming persona with smoke and mirrors. Yuri baiting, family members, overproduction and carefully rationed zatsu topics, etc. As long as it keeps working, she will never be incentivized to improve.

I like her a lot. She's good enough as a gamer, plays her character perfectly, has great rapport with everyone she collabs with, is a hard worker and seems genuinely appreciative of her viewers. Her biggest problem has nothing to do with her. Gura conspicuously overlapping her early on has tied her semi-permanently to competing narratives and agendas in the fanbase. Her success is now being leveraged in arguments between CGDCT subfactions and contrarians. This is why she's so regularly botted. If you have this amount of degenerate attention on you, there's a higher chance of false flag yabs and targeted harassment.

Their unique setup, PL "story" and sheer quantity of streams early on contributed heavily to the momentum of their success. At this point, this success is self-sustaining and helps disguise that their content is shallow and not that interesting. They have good viewer reach and a rock solid core of dedicated fans, so they'll never shy away from frequent, heavy debuff streams. This audience resilience is why they took such a massive gamble with their JP move. Two points of concern stood out to me. One, this was motivated in part by their long-standing desire to work in JP, predating Hololive by a while. Two, they immediately went forward with their independent project as soon as they arrived. That tells me that they're driving two trains at the moment. I'm not a cynical alarmist that thinks their Advent breakthrough is just a stepladder for their other dream. I think they're genuinely, deeply appreciative of their Hololive fanbase. However, the possibility of a conflict of interest in the future is very real. What will happen when they have to choose which one to prioritize?

That's my take. Again, I think Advent is a success overall and these potential troubles are not nearly set in stone to become worse.
