I'll get called a fucking sister for this and I know antis and tourists will reply agreeing with me, but I don't really care at this point. I'll preface this by saying we have yet to SEE their schedule, but if it's 100% all JP outside of FWMC Morning which I KNOW it will be, then everything I'm about to say is 100% correct.

This is the first and only time FuwaMoco have genuienly put their own sub growth above their own fans in a very blatant and obvious way that actually makes them look very cynical and speaks very poorly on their character.
I don't think they don't care about the Ruffians at all, the fact tgat they were in tears proves thay they DO, but I think they've made a clear choice to put their growth above the people they've cultivated for the last 8-months.
This wouldn't be a bad thing if they were upfront about the various promises and things they've said and apologized properly for making people think they'd stick to their word. But they didn't, and they will ignore it for the foreseeable future, which makes them look even worse in my opinion.
For example, they didn't do twitter spaces or guerilla streams during their 2-month move because they didn't want their regular viewers to miss out, yet now when they've JUST returned they're immediately doing a fully JP week during JST primetime.
They'd said JP solo streams would be extremely rare and would always be an "extra" stream which wouldn't take the place of an EN stream. Obviously, Their schedule during Golden Week shows that this was either a lie, or a promise they WANTED to keep but were forced to break in order to reach their sub goals.
Again, this would be fine if they were upfront and addressed this. They did not, and they will not.
They said their streaming times will NOT ever change, but if they start doing weekly JP solo streams, they'll have to be at JST primetime. They said they want to do them "occasionally" which is a step up from when they said they would be "extremely rare."
They made impossible and retarded promises that they never should have made, and now they're ignoring this and will ignore all criticism cause in their eyes it's probably worth it in the end because they'll reach their sub goal.
And no, this isn't them "staying true to themselves," because if they were, they never would have promised this stuff in the first place. They literally CRIED because they know they're going back on various things they've said and are putting growth above their fans. That's why they cried anytime someone told them to "be true to themselves."
And another thing, I find it funny how those of who are bilingual ignore the things they've said cause these individuals won't have to worry about "missing out," which is absurd to me unless all of these people, like Gray, actually don't consider their word as anything more than cute babbles you shouldn't take seriously.
If that's the case, then why even watch them? That would make everything they are either a lie or cynical.
I find it hard to believe ANYONE can truly deny anything I've said, especially if you've been here since day one. The whole situation is stupid, and they should be upfront about ALL of this instead of ignoring it.
I'm gonna take some time away from this place and from their streams, at least for a while.
When they come back, whenever it is, and things are the exact way I said in this post(GW fully JP, Weekly JP streams, etc) then I'm tempted to send superchat or something to force them to address the various lies and/or hypocritical stuff they've said, in the hopes that they ACTUALLY give a fully honest and transparent answer.

You're right but not many will read it. I'm not sure if it's the past traumas of being abandoned or what that causes them to walk on eggshells and constantly over promise to avoid menhera fans leaving or having breakdowns but as a non schizo fan it's a bit sad and I hope they can grow out of that.

I don't fault them for taking every opportunity they get, they never had that previously so they're not used to being the ones in control. In the past, chances were few and far between and they were the ones desperately seeking out the next one to stay afloat. But they're now in a position where the opportunities are so many that they have to start being selective. So far, they have just said yes to everything. 1M subs is a huge milestone, along with the move to Japan so I think they have said yes without any thoughts of what it takes.

They fucked themselves a bit with the move to Japan with 0 planning, but that's done and over now so they are left in a position where they have to go full blown numberfag no matter the cost to have a 5% chance of hitting that 1M. I think it's again their blind optimism, but also retarded ruffians who also think everything is deserved. From the start people were saying 'oh you can do 1M easy'. They had fast growth, more than so many others, which made it possible but it still wasn't realistic. A breakneck pace was just the minimum to hit 1M.

We'll see how it goes, I can't do anything but let them go and do my best to be around still.

What gets to me the most is that I know that I have the potential to become a schizo, but I’m old enough and conditioned enough to keep those tendencies under control/out of view. This leads to her being forced, or at the very least pressured, to accept more things that put her away from her fans, leaving them in the dark as to why she can't be there with them, all the while she's doing her best but still fumbling it with things because she's just not made for that
I was in fucking tears hearing her sob while talking about how bad she feels she can't do better, how she feels bad when people in the company say other girls are doing just fine with the same or even more amount of work, how terrible she feels for not being able to say anything concrete to her fans, and how at the end of the day all she has is the support of her listeners that believe in her to the point where she saves supportive comments and replies she gets to read them when she's feeling down
It's clear by their words and all their crying that this is definitely not something they accepted doing wholeheartedly, maybe didn't even want to do at all, yet here we are

My biggest concerns aren't exactly WITH the JP streams themselves, anon. It's them going against multiple things they've said in order to get subs WITHOUT even addressing any of this at all.
If they openly said, "we're sorry, we truly believed what we said early on, but we need to do this in order to reach our goals" but instead they went halfway and said "we understand if you leave" without even addressing ANY of the stuff I mentioned.
The problem is that they built themselves up one way for the past 8 months, which has been consistent and true, only to break all of that now with no acknowledgment whatsoever. If they went this direction early on, then their actions now wouldn't be anything other than "Oh its just FuwaMoco being FuwaMoco!"

What's funny is I actually HOPE that Golden Week is successful for them, and they do explode in popularity. It would be an extremely grim future if they go back on everything they've said and ruin their character only to not reach their goal by August. Breaking trust, disappointing some fans(I acknowledge it isn't the majority), and making their word/promises mean nothing at all would be fucking depressing for them if they don't achieve their dreams.
