I think it's fine to try and prod them to do better on that front on Patreon comments since you are paying after all. I'm pissed at Anycolor for trying to throw Elira at BiliBili. It's like they chewed her up and are in the process of spitting her out. So far it seems like they have no plans to fix reputation and they'll just try and pawn her to another market. Usually "don't address it" is supposed to be accompanied with trying to make the person "not addressing it" look as good as possible and fixing the stuff without looking at the white elephant in the room.
I'm pissed at Anycolor for shoving Elira in a hole for two months, only to have antis crawl from the shadow the moment she streams. I think you just need to chill out a bit and not jump to so many conclusions about things. I think you are making the mistake many vtuber fans do and just looking at the things we can see on surface and then putting them together without the full picture. If you just look at it at a surface level then putting those two observations together "Elira suffered a hit in popularity" and "Elira is debuting on another platform" to come to the conclusion that its some kind of play to get her a Chinese fandom to replace her EN one kind of makes sense I guess. But if you think about it in the wider context of EN then it stops making sense pretty quickly. For another perspective, the anime is quite good. It's main themes resonate well with many people within Pomu's age group. The first half is particularly nice, with decent pacing and plenty of self reflection for the main characters.
The second half essentially becomes a shonen anime tournament arc (not literally but the feeling is there). While it's still decent and some of the themes persist, you can definitely feel the tonal shift and it's understandable if you drop off from it at that point.
