The last charts also seem to include any type of youtuber, not only vtuber or related. Both top places in the last chart are not what I would consider a vtuber channel but rather a anime-clip and a variety channel. Neither which are things worthy of discussion.

They don’t really focus on superchats for the most parts but when it comes to huge events like nijisanji koushien and that extremely god tier AR live, they put in all the stops and bring all the watchers together since for the most part, most people don’t see nijisanji as a cohesive group per say but a network of talents.

Also since 2019 enikara focused on building their own tech which is paying off in a huge ass way.

For example they had to say twice that the Ar tech they used was in house. They use the 3D events and lives as an advertisement for their tech too.

I don't think Niji's AR tech was something new or amazing though. Pretty sure there are better looking AR out there so I don't believe they would try and sell it. Renting it, however, is a possibility since JP vtubers needs a place to do their own concerts and things without having to fork out large amounts of cash. On top of that, I can see Sony's vtuber branch using their tech since their music branch already poured millions in investment for the AnyKara.

But yeah, I still don't understand why would they built their own in-house AR stage when maintenance, upgrades and experienced employees are expensive. They could get more worth by renting the tech out from a legit tech company/game studio for the AR since they do big concerts like this once or twice in a month. They're also losing in popularity/potential profits against their competitor. The tech might turn worthless in 2 or 3 years.

well that late august date might actually make sense then. As weve seen from Coco graduation month, the biggest hype is only maintained by about two weeks, more than that and it starts dropping.
So at this phase they just want to build awareness that they are cooking something up, but not hype yet. They should drop the biggest announcement at maybe the 15th, have them debut on 21-22th, and first streams on that free week of 23th august.
All just my speculation of course.

What is Cover doing wrong with them in the current moment? In the past it was messed up, but aside from fucked up 2.0 they're getting advertised along the girls, having collabs, entering tournaments with Hololive girls, and are all getting 3D and doing cover songs often. Some of the girls have shit rigging too so it's not a gender discrepancy thing.

You're right but I do think there's value in being first to something. Cover can easily get the female EOP market since they already have great brand recognition in the west through Hololive unlike Niji who is still establishing their EN branch. It seems to me like a wasted opportunity
