If it is, it only became so in like 2018ish. WWE has 3 japanese girls who were really popular in the japanese joshi scene. Asuka who is the most decorated of the 3, she is older and the one who tweeted miko, she joined nxt in 2015 (nxt is like WWE minor league and idk if it was on tv or just on hulu when she was on it. it looks straight up like watching high school students do a drama even though most of the people in it would be mid to late 20s). Asuka got promoted to the main WWE in 2018. In 2017 Kairi joined NXT, got to go to WWE in 2019, left go to back to japan in 2020 and then is back in WWE in 2023.
Third girl is Io Shairi/IYO SKY, joined NXT in 2018 and then WWE in 2022.
