One great recent example is Bijou cancelling her stream just to make it to the Palworld collab because everyone is there especially Gura, and you can obviously tell she wanted to prove something and make friends with Gura, and Gura could care less about her, and she may have misunderstood Gura avoiding her because of everyone being spastic especially the Australian Chinese rat as Gura being snobbish. Her sudden change in demeanor as if rejected by someone she really respected filled my heart with glee and my face with a smile.

The dynamic between these vtubers in Hololive is just so delicious. From Gura being constantly dick sucked by JP members and everyone venerating her, to MoOri acting like a retard because her roommate is getting fat now and she acts like she's kind and good now, mainly because she lost all the clout she used to have.

While Gura will stream, at most, 20 times a year; Bijou will stream just as much, if not more, as 2020-2021 Gura. While Gura struggles to get her music projects off the ground, Bijou releases covers left and right like everyone else. And in doing so she took the Vtuber community by storm. And then with a boost from Hololive she took the world by storm. All from being herself.

She struggles to get her music projects off the ground, and yet Reflect is one of the greatest songs to come out of Hololive, going toe to toe with the best of JP's catalogue. You say Bijou "filled the hole left in your heart" and yet you admit Gura is perfect.

It doesn't matter who your oshi is, you all see Gura's greatness. You don't wanna admit it but you know deep down how incredible she is, all of EN sees it, all of JP sees it and you see it.

Aside from both of them being lolis, Gura and Biboo don't really share the same appeal. Gura is like a childhood friend you had a crush on, where as Biboo is more like a cute daughter.
Biboo is my """Gura replacement""" not because she fills the same niche, but because Gura just doesn't stream.

That said, on the rare occasions where Gura does stream I will still tune in to watch (like in a few hours from now). I can't justify purchasing a membership or merch for Gura anymore, but I also don't hate her or anything. Any sadness or frustration I may have once felt has simply transformed into casual indifference tinged with nostalgic memories of her better years.

Biboo won me over because of her positive attitude, consistent streaming, above average gaming talent, and how she treats her community.
In short, compared to Gura she is simply more Motivated
