it's the truth that they were a few years ago when vtubing was primarily jp and thus a lot of the resources were japanese-controlled but at the moment and continuing into the future the english indie scene has much better artists, riggers, and programs. the only think that japan is best at anymore is vtubing to the fame level of an idol and that's because it's built into their culture, for the average person it's much more beneficial to speak english and cater to the en audience
