Didn't do shit, the guy is a furry artist on twitter who has built a following over 5 years. 26k followers on twitter is really good for an indie vtuber, plus being an artist is a big buff. Add that to pandering to a specific niche that hasn't been filled yet, and what I assume is a decent streaming persona, and you have a recipe for success.
