Hedon Bloodrite, not only does it have dommy mommy orc gfs, but it is a fucking amazing game. The level design not only plays well, but is incredibly detailed for a gzdoom game, it feels very lived in and natural. In the second part of the game it even gets into metroidvania level design, in addition to rpg mechanics and some great worldbuilding.

It still feels kinda surreal to see the meteoric rise of general threads as the norm for discussion on 4chan. I was here back when the situation started "worsening" in /v/ and /vg/ eventually got split off onto its own board. It was super controversial, many (most, even?) people disliked generals back then and thought they made discussion stale. (And honestly, at least from every time I've looked at /vg/ threads in the last few years, they seemed to be mostly right.)
I think it's a natural progression for people wanting to actually socialize and feel like a community, and it does tend to lead to deeper discussions on certain topics, but I also think it made the culture of the site much more volatile and prone to infighting than it used to be.

People will always want to customize and select for personal taste, and that is always part of the refinement of certain times of media, in my experience anyways. The internet has, for better and for worse, been a disruptive tool to reshape our development as social animals. There is a silver lining, even through all the outrage mobs and astroturfing, this cells of echo chambers, are being mapped out for their characteristics, and this gives us a better understanding of our tribal nature. Pretty much anyone using a non-proprietary software have decent rigging. Anyone who does their own stuff is bound to be good too (see: Hyper God Live2D Autist Juniper), but honestly? I don't care too much about the rigging. So long as it can capture facial expressions and doesn't have whatever the fuck is going on with Matara's second outfits titty physics, then it's good in my eyes.
