This is a bad assessment in general. She has several parts that show she is a seperate person from Kiara, shy person she might be in some cases, she is unabashed in her geekiness wholesale, while Kiara's is mostly just in idol culture. What I see when they interact is Kiara inadvertently dampens Nerissa's chuuniness or the other passionate things she likes, which is one of the cutest parts of her.

Karaoke is about having fun but Nerissa is insecure singing live and doesn't perform well in such situation. It's not even about quality, she knows she won't sound as good as in studio so she becomes stiffer and whole stream becomes less entertaining.
