When you try to make your model as outlandish as possible it could be seen as fear of being boring/uninteresting/having no personality, in my opinion.

The model is just the pull and some flavoring along the way if you're successful, it's the personality that people actually stay for mostly. You can initially substitute a poor personality with a neat model but it can only take you so far before people find you lacking.

Looking at /here/ chuubas that started in spring, is growth a matter of not having bad quality and time? People hit affiliate left and right it seems just by virtue of knowing each other.
All feedback I got so far tells me I’m an ok person, but it’s probably not enough, or?

My "mic" in the OBS audio mixer is picking up dB, even though there's no microphone connected. I don't have an internal one. I have a loud fan. I recorded a short video to see if it records any noise, but it was silent. It doesn't go up when I slam the table or scream. It's not interfering with my work, but it's bizarre. What's going on? Maybe it's the noise removal filter?

I applied for the male vtuber audition back in June. My video got 4 views the next day and has stayed the same since. Average watch time however was 2:30 of the 5 min video. I tried to sell myself as best as I can in the written part, but I did admit that I have 0 experience and 0 followers. My first regular were my younger brother and his partner, who would check in periodically and post something vaguely useful to the stream, but it boosted me immediately to a 2-view with a semi-active chat. Seeing them in chat doesn't feel like anything.

However, I've been raided by a few people who seem to really enjoy my stuff, and I've got a femgosling who's been pushing for me to do a collab (I will, once I get the technical issues I'm currently having sorted), and who comes to every stream.

Seeing them there is great - they chat with each other, along with me, so it REALLY keeps the chat going and is great for stats. They're welcoming of new viewers, they do (a few) clips, and they signal boost me on twitter.

I seem to have been adopted, and they all like hanging out in my stream for some reason.

It's amazing.

They're also doing the big push right now to get me to 50 followers and hit affiliate. They're posting in their discords and streams multiple times to get me over that hill. Is this what high-school would have been like if I was attractive?

Artgun, JJinomu, and Yoolies are the best three in vtubing and they're all backed up or reserved by various larger chuubas, so getting a good 3D model is next to impossible even if you've got cash on hand.

I'm tired of seeing people misconstrue their own obsessive checking as extra views on their video. It's unbelievable that it's never been brought up or that none of you actually know this but YOU CAN LOOK AT THE NUMBER OF UNIQUE VIEWERS ON A YOUTUBE VIDEO.
Unique views. The number goes up per different ip address that watches your video, or the same ip address if you're logged into a different account. You can check this in your Youtube analytics.

They're talking 3D, getting 2D is so ridiculously easy since they're a dime a dozen. There's only a handful of artists that take 3D comms though, and they're all fairly high quality so the biggest people buy them all out and they just keep working with them since its guaranteed money, and they're only making outfits as opposed to full models. Coupled with that, they get more guaranteed large clients through references.

Nothing for me either, I expect they filtered the females by followers more than the males. That being said, one person who I saw replying to Nijisanji's tweet had nearly 1000 followers but said she hadn't heard anything although it looks like she's never streamed before either.

How to be more successful?
It's been 6 months and I just got affiliate on Twitch, but still 800 to go for YouTube
I stream 4 times a week, 2 times on each platform but rarely have over 10 viewers, even on collabs
Should I just give up?
Am I just not fit to be chuuba?

How long do you stream/what do you stream? right now there's a gaming drought. Like I suggested with the collab/ /v/streamer group wait until 2022 when a bunch of games will be coming out.
You can establish yourself in those communities way easier than you could in something like apex, valorant or any newer games.
If you're doing singler player old games, just try and interact with your community more, ask them how you can enhance your stream.

The point at the end of the day is to sell yourself and show them an example of what they can expect. If you introduce 'yourself' but still manage to make it a good stream and show off charisma/entertainment value in other ways, they'll give you a chance.

Just personal conflict with some members but nothing too dramatic.
They don't seem like a black company at least but if you apply and get a look at the contract you'll probably be able to rule out certain things already.
But I personally don't think there's such a thing as peaking when you're an indie. Maybe fatigue or demotivation but it always goes up and down for everyone and as long as you don't give up and are decent you'll keep growing.
I'd rather nurture the real friendships I have with other indied and maybe one day make a small group myself than join an agency I feel lukewarm about.

Really tricky to know how much a smaller agency would really help with this. I always felt like they were very hands-off but I think this is something that you can talk about during the interview stages.
When it comes to time management I think it's best to outsource as much as possible if you have the funds. Like clipping, schedule art and the like. I started doing this recently and it freed up a ton of time for me.
And of course you could always try getting a manager.

You say that like the neet applicants aren't used to being awake at the oddest of hours, and if the middlemen who would certainly be in this scenario are inept at translation. If it was a big, long design project you'd have a point, but if it's as easy as "I want to be a pirate with a gold cape" then it's really no issue. Even less so if it's taking a predone design and making minor color tweeks or whatever nijisanji actually does. Language and time in the modern age is really the least of one's concern in this sort of affair. An unclear vision or wishywashy attitude would be far worse on either end.

These are definitely newbie weight loss results from shock due to the sheer fact that I have largely been a sedentary cat for the good majority of my life. I'd appreciate similar results throughout the month but I know plateaus are inevitable the further you progress with your weight loss journey. Having said that I've significantly cut down the amount of sugar laden beverages I drink save for the occasional pre-post workout smoothie, in addition to keeping my daily caloric intake hovering around 1500-1700.

I'd like to move around a lot more with games like Thrill of the Fight and Knockout League, but my playspace is rather small which increases the likelihood of smashing my fists against something hard and valuable. They will go full menhera on twitter and never respond to you.
