Is imposter syndrome a big problem with big vtubers? Do you think it's hard for vtubers to separate their irl persona from their vtuber persona? Do you think those that do or have the batman effect have an easier time streaming or do you think it would be easier if they allow their irl self to seep through the cracks and have a more intimate relationship with their audience?

I think chuubas get "imposter syndrome" when they realize they aren't funny or talented but they're still raking in thousands of viewers. They only feel like imposters because they don't understand the factors that make chuubas popular and that they don't have to be very funny, talented or even unique.

I think this is a problem with a lot of people who are "talented" though. Not everyone shoots 100%, sometimes the biggest comedians are not funny and sometimes singers/artist content is not as great as their previous work. When this applies to vtubers I wonder if they blame themselves or maybe their avatars/company. It's just a real interesting thing to think about being able to use a mask and pull in thousands of viewers and wonder about the psyche of a person behind that mask.
