I think it's THAT bad, or it will be, whenever she leaves Nijisanji. I know there is no way to accurately quantify this, but given how the NDF behaves, I wonder how many subs/fans are there for Elira, her talent, the person behind the avatar, and how many are there and defending her because she is in Nijisanji. I'd want to say at best it is half and half but you never know, all I know is that public perception of people that went to bat for Nijisanji (Luca, Millie) is bad, and this was prior to Elira saying she wanted to host a video assassinating Doki's character. It's so bad fanbases of people that retweeted that video are coping by saying there is "no way" all livers knew the video would be that bad.
Time will tell, but I think Elira's real struggle will happen after she leaves Nijisanji. For now, the company's rep and her's are tied, and that's bad enough, honestly.

I started out as a huge nijifaggot being a Iinchou and Deron fan, but I ended up drifting away from liking the company because of all the incompetence. There are things that can stop you from appearing in the black stream and they are much more stronger than the reasons for appearing

Reasons not to appear

Problem is that most of the community focuses on models trained on singing for AI covers. Training a model yourself is a little more complicated because google started banning accounts for training using their colab app, but if you have a good amount of vram you can do it locally.
