So I have been skeptical of the money situation myself and people here are talking about it like it is a big mystery. For some reason I did not think this through until now but we had some usable numbers for months now so we can just do some calculations ourselves.
If we assume everybody makes the same amount of money x, then the company makes y:
y = 5 * 0.2 * x + x = x + x = 2 * x
=> x = y / 2 .
This means if the company wanted to make y amount of money each talent would need to earn half of that.
If you did not quite catch that. If the company wants to make 50k in the first year, then every talent would need to earn 25k (before the company gets their cut obviously) in the first year. Now this may sounds like a lot but this does not even include stuff like donothons.
I do not know how much I can say here about the following in case the moddy mods are here. But using some numbers that were revealed to me in a dream she might just be able to make all the invested money back herself in the first year.
So I don't know if I am huffing to much hopeium or made mistakes in my calculations but it seems that this may just work out.

Depends on how much cash is in the bank, what the cash burn rates once it gets going and momentum for the company they have. My main issues are the fact the upfront costs are enormous and unless they have some deep pocketed backers who are as motivated and shrewd and patient as Fishman from Phase, I feel like that is going to cripple the company right off the back.
