It was scuffed for sure, and she didn't realize until halfway that it wasn't whispering that won, it was soft speaking. She spent the first half whispering which seemed pretty mixed. Some anons loved it, some anons really didn't. Most seemed to agree that the soft speaking was wonderful though, and she even sang a bit that way too. By the end she just started saying various things from the chat which I'm sure sound post makers will have a field day with; I even ended up making a few sound clips myself for personal use.
Also, we got to hear her new cat Henry purring.
All in all, I thought it was pretty nice and for me personally it was worth the hype.

Reading the archives and there was seemed to be a real divide on the ASMR portion. Teamates generally enjoyed it, yet others (even those who were membered) didn't and only had bad things to say? A real group of downers for sure. Although going off their writing style I imagine the true hate posts were just same 4 antis, including that one sad bastard who frequents this thread.

I use HyperChat, but I think other, potentially better tools may exist. Basically just projects any live translations from the chat as captions at the bottom of the screen, and saves them in a seperate chat box so you can look back if there's anything you've missed. Only really useful if the vtuber in question has proactive fan translators - was extremely useful for Haachama's return and meme review, but I used it the other day on a Pekora stream and it was kinda shit.

She's a bit immature, but she's adorable, and has good intentions, she appreciates her fanbase a lot.
Keep your expectations grounded and just know that Ame delivers, she makes you happy to be a teamate, and this happened plenty of times this year alone.

Historically, her best streams were long one-shots or long series of 3-4 hour episodes. Outer Wilds is top tier Ame content, followed by L.A. Noire and followed by all the one-shots like Short Hike, Later Aligator, Obra Dinn (almost one shot), etc.

I'd say my perfect Ame week would be 3 hour episodes between Monday and Friday and a long, comfy stream on the weekends. Then for other streams like Reviews or Apex or collabs, I think 1-2 hours is pretty good.

idk about DS1, but DS2 scared the shit out of me at some points with the atmosphere and sounds. I remember one part where you're stuck in complete darkness and enemies appear from random areas, making noise all over the place, while you're standing still in a corner wishing for the best with your poor flashlight.

The only scary thing about RE7 is the fucking family that gets teleported next to you. I got tired of all the times I would check to make sure the fucking old lady was far away, check the corners and all of a sudden she was next to me right on the corner I had checked, and that happen with every family member. The only area that was good was the basement, Only there you have a dark area with some effort in the atmosphere. Sadly, RE7 is full of cheap jumpscares.

Another really good game in terms of atmosphere and balance of spooky areas and action is Metro 2033.I'm convinced Ame would love it. I think Metro Last Light is the game that scared me the most since I have arachnophobia.

I would be incredibly happy if Ame played P.T with her heartrate monitor, I feel like that would definitely manage to scare her

It would be weird for Ame to sponsor something that has nothing to do with her and her community. While the card stream was funny, neither Ame nor Teamates in general target that type of content. Something more coherent would be a sponsorship of some FPS game, or some platformer, nintendo or something about nature like terrariums, I don't know. That would be more suitable for the type of content she makes and the type of content we consume.

I'm happy with any kind of sponsorship if I'm honest with you, even if Ame tries to sell me tampons, I'm in, don't get me wrong. It would be a good stream either way. But if she's going to sponsor something, it wouldn't be bad if it's something interesting for her and for us.

They played SwSh when it came out because they didn’t ask for permissions back then. Mio also played gen 5 before they needed permissions. Rushia and Polka got special permission to play it a few months ago, but just them, I think. But I don’t give a shit about SwSh anyway. Those games suck ass. I wish they could play the pre-3D games, but Nintendo won’t allow them to play the DS games because you need a special capture card that requires you to mod your DS. The only games they could play legitimately would be gens 1-3, but that would require a gameboy player for the GameCube.
Now that I mention it, there really are only so many holos who would go through all that trouble, most of whom are in Gamers. Nintendo still could do a better job making their old games more accessible though.
