There's always two sides to every story, to an extent I imagine Vox's ramblings are actually true, that in her time as Selen, she wasn't particularly good at playing by the inane bullshit rules management set (see Zaion doc), which over multiple instances would lead to a reputation as being 'difficult' when in reality it's just someone struggling and poor communication from the side that should 100% be responsible for communicating well (management, if that wasn't obvious). If I had a comprehensive standpoint, it'd be that shit's complicated and nobody speculating from the outside has the complete picture. Chances are nobody on the inside really does either. Depending on the nature of Anycolor's stock buyback and how much shares they purchased at what price, the situation isn't looking great right now.
At least it isn't looking good for EN, since none of their actions have done much to turn things around. And when their idea of saving the branch's reputation consists of having 39daph as their eceleb spokesperson and "clapping back at the haters" on Twitter, it's probably time to call it quits at that point. Riku's masterplan is to hire a boatload of new people at minimum wage on 3 month contracts. If this goes as I expect it to go Nijisanji will end up with a high turnover rate of managers, which will absolutely murder efficiency. I have no expectations that this branch will survive in 2026 and I don't think Nijisanji's business model of minimum investment in the talent (combined with no investment in management) is viable today.
I just hope they find some way to clean up the image of their talent before they go, or failing that Anycolor burns down so spectacularly that every talent's image is bleached.
