What the hell is the headline announcement coming up next month? I don't think I've heard a single theory that matches the hype and scale she's been giving this.

It can't be a collab, not even Ado, unless it's something absurdly mainstream like Billie Eilish. A lot of things like a US sololive could/will be really cool but don't fit that sense of scale. Opportunities like the Arcane OP2 theory don't seem big enough and don't make a ton of sense to announce at specifically 5th Fes.

Maybe I could see it for an actual world tour, but with how early they seem to be in the US venue hunt I don't see the infrastructure being there for a full tour yet.

I know it's going to be incredible whatever it is, I'm just going crazy having so little clue this close to the announcement. At least with the major debut there was a clear idea going into it even if it was wrong.

The issue I had with the story is back when playing FGO is that the main story isn’t all that good until America (which I thought was just okay and carried by Cu at the end) and doesn’t get really good until Camelot, which gameplay wise is much harder and becomes a grindfest. Called it quits then, especially after losing a lot of motivation to play after pulling Jeane Alter in a banner. After Camelot on it’s apparently great chapter after chapter, but that’s a pretty tall order for a casual or newcomer to get to since each chapter before hand is hours and hours of reading a not so good VN style story.

Fate is in this weird area where yes everything is "canon" in the sense that its a multiverse where even sequels are more "offshoots" than direct continuations. So you get to the point where its basically "Care about what you want to care about, and ignore stuff you don't like". Do you hate Extra/CCC/Extella? Yes?
