I'm pondering the idea of Spanish-only (or mainly Spanish) streams. What's the best way I could do it? I'd love to branch out that way, but I'm not sure how to catch that new audience.

Any suggestions for what to do on stream/how to branch out to Spanish speakers? I'm considering playing Blasphemous in Spanish, to go in-depth about what inspired it. (As soon as I fix my Switch...)

not really needing advice on shilling or getting more audience (thats for way later), I just want to be funnier and more entertaining. I'm so much more energized and lively around friends, but I really struggle with it on stream. I think I'm self aware enough to understand I'm boring on stream, but not enough to stop myself from thinking that at my core I can be way more entertaining and funny. it's like I feed off of others energy, and when I'm streaming and nobody is there I have nothing to fuel my brain.

sometimes I think I go more than 30-45 minutes just narrating what I'm doing and screaming at a game without providing any jokes or stories or anything. that works for some, but that's not gonna work for me. I need to do more, just not sure how to get it out of me.

As someone who has both self posted on /wvt/ and /asp/ at the peaks it were to be useful in, it does not matter. Established and older chuubas from those respective circlejerks will deem you weird and will not help you grow. It’s best to use this thread as simple question and answer rather than depending on being part of the said “community”. I don’t closely keep track of new aspies after gen 5, and there’s no reason for me to. Everyone will make their own communities and be independent from this place. Sure you have someone like uwo giving advice and handing free numbers, but at the end of the day, you need to be independent from those variables so you can keep consistency. Depending on having the title as the /asp/ chuuba only limits you and makes you susceptible to being a sidekick of anyone who is big at the time you are hanging out with. Branch out or do everything you can to make the viewers you already have happy.

Branch out on twitter or chat on other chuubas’s streams. You don’t need to collab and collabing is actually a debuff on stream. It’s also a hidden weapon secret to find other online friends in other games or social media and convince them to appear on your stream or tell them to become a vtuber. The best actions you can do as a person who wants to stream and hasn’t yet are:
- openly ask for noob advice about how to use obs, audio setup, etc.
- stream a casual test first and share the vod of the game you are playing on here.
don’t be entertaining on that stream but do practice your voice and crack less than a handful of jokes maybe. You want to save the energy for your first actual stream with your choice of model, png, or vroid.
- ask for feedback on if your game stuttered, mic peaked, etc. DO save your keyfabe for later.
- post your character design somewhere and here for advice
- since you already have some anons who recognized you asking for help and you are (hopefully) receptive to feedback, you have a special place in their heart. They will watch your first stream as a chuuba.
