All holos have their hang ups. Gura in the ferris wheel was a cheeky brat, typed some possible banter in chat and deleted before sending it. Great entertainment for the audience.
Then there is pic related in a recent prechat. Her ghosting poeple makes so much more sense now. Also red flags all around (but those make her cute, so it's ok).

Kiara just pushes her problems out in the open to deal with them. Audience can help with info or just framing it in perspective so she doesn't get stuck in her own head like some of the bad days back in the rrat house.

Honestly, I started watching her in mid January, just a little before the deepest of depressive episodes she's had and it drove my saviourfagging wild. Watching her being able to take it on the chin and keep moving forward is great, and seeing her bounce back once she settled in at Australia was a pretty good feeling. I'm happy she managed to overcome her depressive episodes and start to enjoy life. Obviously Corona fucked her time in Japan and made it miserable for her, but even so headed back home to basically 'start fresh' was misery. I was worried Kiara was going to go to heavy with the tsun at the beginning, but she found the right points to open Tiara up to rest of the party, so it felt neither too rushed nor too drawn out. The loner character can be a tough play, especially for an audience, but she did well.
Kiara always seemed to want to play Tiara as more stand-offish, so if you want to reconcile how she acted in the intro versus now, I suppose you can just say her experience at the manor brought out her latent paranoia.
I think the big surprise for me was how much I ended liking Watoto. Like a lot of people, I thought his intro was the weakest, and while I expected him to work better with a group, I did not think he would be as entertaining as he was. Ame really improved her RP in this session over the intro. And of course WatoTiara was unexpected but hilarious
Gura was a little worse than her intro, but she’s going through some stuff, so that’s understandable, and she still got some great one liners and quips in. I’m a bit worried about her going full murderhobo, but I doubt that’ll happen, and if it does, Scout going slasher would be absolute kino.
Yuul was pretty much the same: mostly passive, but with some nice lines like testing her taser on Vic. She definitely had some good stuff at the end with the junkyard escape. I hope there’s some more situations to get her actively engaged.
Mori’s GMing was mostly on point, though I thought the opening sequence meandered a bit. She’s also calling for some skill rolls using the wrong stats i.e. Tiara using Wits for Animal Ken when it’s a social skill and should be using Presence instead, but rules autism can be a fun killer, so it doesn’t matter too much.
Overall, they all did great, 10/10chou, Glory to WatoTiara

Let them stay in the bar for a week with some minimal training/lore on creatures, stuff the silver/cold iron. She just got the bar and left on a mission the next day.

I enjoyed Kiara's roleplay. The loner character is always a hard sell but it just makes too much sense for the strange bird lady Tiara.
She embraced the wierdness of WoD and used her trait of being a foreigner to its fullest by making Somewherelse a really strange place to quickly connect to the party. She bonded with Watoto over his smell, with Scout over ice cream with some arm wrestling on the side and complimented Yuul on her phone call.
It seems to me that she wants to keep her "I hate strangers" persona but does whatever possible to speedrun the other three to no longer be strangers to her. And with good reason; "me vs. everyone else" can get annoying quick but "us vs. them" can be insanely kino.
Mori can do stuff like testing her loyalty which has the potential for some great scenes.

It's unfortunate that Kiara has to be fighting an uphill battle even this far into her career. Every little thing she says or does is scrutinized to the nth degree. Nobody else (aside from maybe Mori) is held to the same standards that Kiara is.
