Okay so people in the last thread were making some pretty good points that anycolor didn’t actually do any nda breach, cuz if they sent the document cuz they were being ignored, and the termination went up 2 hours after the document was sent, there’s no way an nda was actually signed, so it seems more likely that they just requested that the document be kept private. This also makes the NijiEN twitter statement on the matter make more sense, if there was no NDA then its true that they didn’t violate confidentiality, and that the talents aren’t under confidentiality for this info, and it makes sense why they would say this while also saying they kepts parts private by request, cuz a request is all it ever was, and they were legally free to be as selective as they wanted in honoring that privacy. That does make Mr. Man replying and implying they were violating confidentiality a bit concerning cuz there probably is grounds to claim defamation on that if the jp laws are really as crappy as people claim

If JP just let EN do whatever and only asked for these quarterlies, they could easily rig the amounts however they wanted, since something like expenditures being 85% clique, 15% other talents would still just come out as 100% of the expenditures. Personal opinion? Probably proves that Doki really rather not keep this drama fest going. If the JP side is being strung along by EN, this dispute might be settled really fast if they don’t have to drag out the EN clique first.

Also probably does confirm at the least there are serious internal EN issues, because if they find how cancerous the EN management has been, the entire branch is probably getting axed in the end. Regardless of what is true or not, I'm 100% Elira is not saving her ass. Even if she's 100% innocent by a miracle of destiny and was used as a meat shield, her image has been perma tarnished as everything that is wrong with NijiEN and the one that led it happened or even ordered it. It's too much of a risk and they are not COVER corp. They are going to graduate or terminate her WAY later if not VERY soon, no medium set time because anything slightly after the storm passes will hit harder as it would look like things going well is a facade and nothing has changed, cue in stock tanking again and perhaps harder because Elira is THE FACE of NijiEN still.
They have to wait until people calm TF down and the stock slightly recovers before they can defenestrate Elira.

LK cannot be Luca Kaneshiro. It's too eloquent and well put together. He is one of the biggest bootlickers in Nijisanji, and I have first hand experience with that. On top of that, he wanted to do a cover with Elira and even directed and paid for the commissioned art to make sure it was to his liking - he has the art, but Elira never agreed to do the cover with him. The only argument here could be that he is deflecting from himself, which is possible, to make it look like he was never apart of the "clique" and was not a bully. And didn't Dokibird at one point speak like she and her lawyer EXPECTED them to make a response video like they did? Again this makes sense if the lawyer sent that expecting some kind of backlash from them, but didn't care because that was never his focus. After all, if the goal is to get the JP branch second-guessing this group, then seeing that exact group all appear or get mentioned in the statement video while the public hates the video might again encourage the JP branch to investigate that group. As someone said: they implicated themselves.

Dokibird's last statement sounds like she doesn't have a case at all. It backpedals, it's defensive, it's apologetic for the document's content, and she seems to be pleading with the talents to stop fighting. Again, what if Doki and her lawyer knew from the start that from a legal perspective, they might not really have a case, but they can still do a lot to shine a light on the corruption and try to screw over the clique? In that context, the lawyer sending over Doki's statement makes a bit more sense.

It's also a bit of a probe: if Doki and her team have long suspected that Elira and Co are acting as management, then they'd probably get their hands on the document a lot faster. Her lawyer drafting up a statement would never require a translation, nor would it need to be seen by EN's branch "for context."

In her statement, Doki specifically mentions that this was all done by Japanese lawyers. So apparently, she has a lawyer that speaks Japanese and sent the document, and of course Niji's main branch is Japanese. So how does this document end up in the hands of EN if confidentiality was requested? Well, it's possible they just fucked up the confidentiality request, it's possible they just sent it to EN to get a statement from them, and it's also possible they needed it translated from english, so they sent it to their go-to for translation work: Elira. That right there could be meant to highlight the power and access Elira has.

It seems plausible to me that Doki's lawyers are not actually approaching this from the perspective of immediately trying to take Niji to court. Instead, they're there to primarily defend Doki from any lawsuits, and secondarily, they're there to probe info to and from Nijisanji and shine a light on Elira and Co. Niji will then soon find themselves in a position that they're aware of the problem, and if they care about their income, they NEED to address the problem and terminate the problem children. This may be something Dokibird is simply passionate about doing for the sake of everyone else, or it may also simply be an important piece of evidence for future lawsuit attempts. After all, if Nijisanji is forced to acknowledge the problem and terminate those three for the sake of their own income, then Doki citing the very same problem Niji has just acknowledged as the reason for her wrongful termination now holds much more water.

I could be completely wrong here, but I was thinking about it and realized that a lot about the nature of the statement (vaguely mentioning a general area where someone lives) and how it was forwarded doesn't make sense from a legal perspective...unless your goal isn't to secure a lawsuit ASAP, but rather to shine a light on the problem and force Niji to respond internally first.

In that context, it makes sense to try and help Nijisanji by doing everything she can to shine a light on the people responsible, with her lawyers still there to ensure she doesn't do anything that could get her in trouble. I mean after all, she was dumb enough to pay money out of pocket for this stupid company, so behaving this way and having her lawyers behave this way could just be another "loveletter" from her to Nijisanji where she's trying to help them spot the problem.

I just can't get over how much incompetence is necessary for this story to make sense at face-value. This includes Doki's own lawyers.

To my knowledge, if someone requests to be freed from their contract and the other party doesn't respond, most countries have a basic system where you send a reminder to the opposing legal team and give them a deadline to respond. This escalates until a motion to compel, at which point the opposing lawyers get a court order to respond and can get in serious trouble if they don't react.

Here, Dokibird's lawyer allegedly saw the other team wasn't responding, and instead of setting a deadline or filing a motion to compel, he said "gee I know, let's send your angry rant to them!"

It makes absolutely no sense from a legal perspective, and only makes logical sense if they have other goals in mind. Sending a document written by their own worker could actually carry more weight than a formal legal document, if the goal is to get them investigating. And again, if the document mysteriously ends up in the hands of Niji EN in record time, this might create a scenario where NijiJP has to explain why they have the document, then they end up justifying it with "translation work." If the goal was to highlight and question why someone like Elira has the document, then a lawyer's statement never would have worked. The translation would not have been necessary and I doubt the EN branch even has a legal department.
