I think non-generals are the bane of schizos/autists. It is truly their worst nightmare to have to spread out across an entire board to find their targets of harassment and post in a myriad of threads, thus spreading their verbal diarrhea much thinner and less likely to assault the senses of any others browsing. Generals provide a very unique environment where schizos/autists can feel more powerful than elsewhere because their harassment/spam/shitposts are concentrated and amplified, and if they so desire, it is much easier to flood a topic or individual they don't like with spam to the point of completely burying them or at the very least ruining the experience for everyone else. They don't like the egalitarian anonymity that comes with non-general thread topics; it makes them feel powerless.
