She started to focus more on being "actual seiso" sometime in 2020 (rough estimate) but her joke-cracking "dirty" side comes out in collabs. Either way the timing for this is really shit, she's soured her own birthday celebration on accident. Well, not on accident, it was deliberate but under the influence of being really fucking angry. So basically an accident, since even she agrees that she shouldn't have done any of it.

I can just imagine her stress knowing that she caused a huge public drama that should've been kept inside the company. I've seen the Matsuri I love in glimpses at best. Sometimes for a slightly longer period (the past 3 weeks) and sometimes for a day or two. Now this on top? Like really, why would she do that? If they weren't and Matsuri kept saying shit like that out of the blue and Luna found out about it, she'd be pissed as hell, right? There would definitely be shit brewing constantly inside the company. And the times when Matsuri talks about her friendships with holomen, it's not usually even prompted by the viewers or under pressure or anything. She's never put into a situation where she HAS to talk about them (excluding Holotalk), so why would she just randomly start lying about shit in the middle of a zatsu or mengen or whatever? On top of that, Matsuri is hella emotional and if she gets even a slight read on someone disliking her, she'd be an emotional wreck all over the place during her work as well but it seems to be quite the opposite, she's been very laid back recently, excluding the case with chama right now of course.

I just don't get why shipfags keep trying to read holotalents' irl relationships. Not only is it hard as fuck to do because they won't be telling you even a fraction of what their interactions are outside of work (except for the few teetee moments usually which are of course nice to hear about) but you gain nothing from it because you won't be enjoying any of it since they're not collabing actively during work. So what's the point?

On another note, remember when all of the shipfags came to the conclusion that FBK hates festival and avoids her because she is a menhera and whatnot? Despite that everytime they appear together nowadays they seem to be just fine. Long time friends and all, and if anything their appearances together have increased as of late.

As for the regulars here, I'm pretty sure most are willing to stick through tournaments just to see the good stuff afterwards. They haven't gone anywhere. Matsurisu are resilient as fuck. Personally I'm hoping that her birthday, the goods she'll announce, her past 3 months being lax as fuck and upcoming summer vacation will give her more motivation to work and maybe, just maybe she can go for 2 weeks without Apex and a thousand delays. You never know for sure though, I'm just hoping. Throwing all my savings into a wishing well

There is still the vtuber tournament coming up. But we'll see, that's still a month away with no word on anything so far. I don't keep tabs so I don't know when the lineup is announced but I figure she wouldn't miss that one. Maybe even that all holo team she alluded to. What I really want to see is whether she picked up any substantial leadership skill.
Also supposedly she has like 8 happy announcements, so it remains to be seen whether her workload is going to be any less. But like seriously though, 8? Hope they are smaller otherwise at that rate she'll be swamped until the next birthday/event.

Her subs aren't dead, it's just most of them would rather watch her play Minecraft or sing. They tend to come back when she runs those. In other words, most of them are doing exactly what she wants them to do. She'd be hitting typical numbers if not for Apex. She'd be making more SC money if she didn't outright say she's using twitter spaces so that people can't send her more SCs.

This is pretty much where I am. Matsuri isn't my oshi, but I really enjoy her Minecraft and karaoke streams. I just can't bring myself to watch Apex. Even when my oshi plays it, I just leave the stream on in the background.
