Well, apparently it took a fuckton of time to even compose and sing and ultimately get perms for, so that delayed its reveal to the public until her 3D.
After that she started working on the MV, which meant she was going to storyboard the thing herself. That took a while because she had no experience doing this kind of thing for an animation, something she kind of whined about -- in hindsight maybe that's why she later said she wanted to enrol for animation lessons.
Either way, she had to submit that to management and wait. They came back to her eventually but that was around a time when Pomu was very busy with other projects (and considering when she said this it was likely around the time she was planning Oto no naru hou e), so she kind of dropped the ball on it and didn't continue for a while. We now know that around that time she also started seriously thinking about graduating so that was another reason for her to stop working on it -- if she originally planned to graduate in, say, October, it would never have been completed in time.
When she got back to it probably after late July - early August when they told her she'd be participating at AI/Nijifes all the artists and other people she had to commission were busy.
So now everybody's working overtime to try and get this damn MV out; not today, apparently, and hopefully before her final stream.

It's funny. I was so sure Pomu would never graduate. I knew she was miserable and dejected, but I thought she would never have the guts to actually do it. It's still really sad though. I wish Anycolor had put in the bare minium amount of effort, instead of 3 3d debuts in 4 years and not shooting down every project. I hope that Pomu leaving makes Anycolor realize they need to do better or they'll lose all their talents, but I can't say I'm optimistic.
